Shit, a Wipeout hovercraft? I'll be all over that one.

Still, some of these are odd choices, including Wipeout. Some of these games haven't had entries made in years. I mean, the last PaRappa the Rapper game was released 17 years ago (although I know an HD remake of the original has been released recently).

It seems like a PlayStation all-stars style line up. I'll be all over the PaRappa. Love that game.

Believe me, Parappa is in the running as well. I was never good at that game, but I still loved it.

Every time I see a Wipeout craft, I get Fluke's 'Atom Bomb' stuck in my head. Really like the detail on these small pieces.

When I got the HD Remaster, it was a lot easier than I remembered from the PS1 days. I couldn't get past the baking level back then. I blew through it on my 1st go thru on the remaster.

Most of the Wipeout games had mind-blowing soundtracks. The instrumental version of Firestarter used in XL was so amazing to race to, and even the Cold Storage OST of the first game was great. I miss this series.

They HAD to have made it easier, then, because I recently tried playing the original via an emulator and I still fucked everything up just as bad...the timing for the button presses is so weird, and I could never get the hand of freestyling. Meanwhile, I'm good at other rhythm-based games (Bust a Groove, Space Channel 5, etc).

If I ever pick up a PS4 I'll probably download the HD remaster and see if there's any difference.

That's definitely possible. I don't have the original at the moment, so I can't tell how different the timing is.

It weirds me out how all of the articles are like "This is just like amiibo but without the NFC functionality!"

So they're nothing like amiibo other than being statuettes?
