Valerobots Star Wars Black Prototype Boba Fett by Monte Williams, on Flickr You Can Run, But You'll Only Die Tired by Monte Williams, on Flickr (Deal with it.) In the late '80s my 7-11 briefly, unexpectedly sold bootleg vintage figures, and I was giddy about those for a while, and I got ever so slightly caught up in the excitement of the Power of the Force series in the mid-'90s, but mostly I've only ever used Star Wars toys as a supply of monsters and parts and accessories for my G.I. Joes and hobbits and whatnot. However, between The Force Awakens (which isn't represented in my collection... yet) and, more so, Clone Wars, which I finally started watching last month (I'm at the start of the fifth season; no spoilers, please!), there has been a shift. A disturbance in the Force, if you will. Suddenly, I'm pillaging my toy collection for monsters and parts and accessories I can use with my Star Wars figures. Fancies pass quickly in my toy hobby, so who knows how long this Star Wars phase will last? Whatever the case, I hope you enjoyed my photos, and I'll be sure to update this thread with new portraits as they become available. Thanks for looking! Cheers, Monte

Just awesome, Monte! I loved the background provided at the end.
Fave photos: all of them really, but in particular are 2,3,5,6...I only mentioned the numbers because I'm not familiar with those animated Clone Wars characters, but the colors...the colors are beautiful! and all of the Boba Fett pics are jaw-droppers! Makes sense that you and Valerobots would team-up since you are both fantastic artists...I haven't seen Valerobots post on this site in ages...I miss looking at his cool creations. Thank you for the kind words, BlueMarvel!
The blue-faced cowboy is Cad Bane, a bounty hunter who makes Boba Fett look like a wuss. Funnily enough, I bought the toy years ago just 'cause he looked cool and there aren't enough cowboy toys in the world, but now that I've long-since parted with the toy and finally started watching the show, he's become perhaps my favorite Star Wars villain. That female figure clad in red is Mother Talzin, although the figure, oddly enough, is just called "Nightsister", which would be like calling all the Luke Skywalker figures "Jedi". Meanwhile, Valerobots is on Facebook, and he's as prolific and dementedly creative as ever: Big droid by ValeroBots, on Flickr Desert Dragon droid by ValeroBots, on Flickr the beast and the droid by ValeroBots, on Flickr Droids by ValeroBots, on Flickr
