If you didn't already know Hasbro is making a 3 3/4 Ghost Rider Part of the Marvel universe line. and someone here had said and i kinda sorta quote "Hasbro is waffling whether or not Ghost rider will come with his bike".and i found these bikes at big lots for $4 each and i thought since they may or may not include his bike i thought i could customize my own.
so i need help deciding which bike to use i doubt id use the american one,so i think i would either pick the black or yellow one. there are parts from both bikes that i would want on one bike.like on the yellow bike the exhaust matches the ML Bike almost perfectly, but the handle bars on the black one match the ML bike more than the yellow. and you probably cant notice it but on the yellow bike there are flame details on the tires/rims ,seat and on the part of the bike thats right behind the handle bars,so i could if i have a steady hand paint the details.AND i Have every MU Human Torch in Existence and both iron fist and sunfire so i have 7 of the fire accessories to put on the bike(Most likely to match the fire on the ML Bike) Thanks for the help in advance And also can someone post a pic of Ghost Riders Bike When its not Engulfed in flames? |

The yellow looks like a perfect base, but like you said, you're probably gonna have to mix and match parts. I'd definitely start with lots and lots of research. The angle of the handle bars on the yellow one would definitely need to raised (closer in position to the way they are on the "american" bike). The tires look great though. The seat and the headlight on the American one might also be cool to use.
Keep in mind the MU Ghost Rider figure might be something like Warpath in height. Here's something close to what his bike would look like un-flamed:

I'm just throwing this out there. My current theory on the MU Ghost Rider bike is that it will come like a BAF with bike parts spread out across the wave. My only real evidence to support this is the fact that it is a small wave.
I think the yellow bike is a great frame and I'm not sure if any of the other bikes really gets the handlebars right. You could always try to customize your own. The other ones seem too "square". He needs to be able to kinda lean back and go full throttle if you know what I mean. If my theory doesn't hold water, I will undertake a similar project. Was there a certain ratio for this bike size that you chose? |

Yes, I agree, they have to be long, sweeping handle bars.
A BAF vehicle would be really interesting, but who knows if they'll do it. Man, how sweet would a BAF X-Plane be?!

Multiple Man Captain Britain Mystique Wolverine Team X Ghost Rider All of them with the exception of Wolfie Team X probably do not come with accessories and if they did it might be like energy blast. Makes me think that once again, a suitable idea would be to have bike parts in substitution for accesories. |

i don't know how i would be able to change the handle bars because its metal.and i looked at the American bike on ebay and the seller said the scale was 1:64 and i got it because it looked about the same size as the XMO wolverine bike.and i don't really want to disassemble the bike cause after playing with them i kinda like them,so i will probably go to big lots on Wednesday to buy doubles.Who knows this might be my best and most complicated custom yet.

The next project is always the most complicated and frustrating one, lol. We tend to want to one-up ourselves, don't we?
As an animator and modeler, I can tell you first hand: failing a couple of times at something epic is 10 times better than succeeding at something mediocre.

Yeah, I'd say go for a mix between the yellow and black bikes. GR definitely has the stretched front end with long handlebars to match, but the rear fender doesn't sweep down as much as the yellow bike.
I guess it also depends on which era you're using as reference. Johnny's bike was different from Danny's and the movie version was also different. Here's a couple photos to get you started, but I'd say Google is your friend here. Sketching out basic designs usually helps me a lot. And there's always Photoshop.

i decided to just wing it and it turned out pretty good to me
I made it a little to tall that it wont stand using the kick stand and like Excelsior07 said he might be the same height as warpath so he is my model from now on i used the engine ,tires and front part of the bike from the yellow bike i also used the exhaust from the yellow bike as you can see for the handle bars i used twist ties so i could customize the shape of them, and i really had no choice because i smashed the original bars to shit when i tried to bend them. and when i put the tires i unintentionally made it so i could lift the rear tire an extra inch. i will probably paint it late tomorrow and then post pics of that and then maybe the same day or the next day i'll add the flames.and maybe the photoshop king(Excelsior07) could photoshop where i could put the flames. the handle bars are kinda loose but i think if i super glue them they could still be bendy but not loose. Hope you like it |

I like the progress so far. Can't wait to see it painted up.
Yep. Marvel Crossovers Ghost Rider. I'm thinking of getting two, just so he can ride himself. I've also heard of others talking about making Wreck-Gar/Junkion customs with him.

I'd be careful with putting the flames both near the crotch and rear areas. It might look too much like a "flame fart". I think right on top of the headlight and maybe even around the exhaust would be cool. And I actually think the flames on the front wheel look pretty good.

Well i think im done for now,i could have put the flames on the tires like i had shown above but im not sure how to do it.maybe later
i got the fire as far away from his crack as possible ,i wasnt sure how to put the fire on the headlight at first but i cut some of it and it worked out fine. What do you think? I think it turned out better than i expected. |
