Hey guys I'm looking for some feedback on these guys. I've been wanting Ghostbusters in 1:18 for some time now and have gone through a few ideas until I reached the current figures.
Here are the failed efforts: This Recondo body was actually pretty good. So it was too bad I could only find one of him so I had to find three other figures that would work. I also only have two proton packs so I wasn't sure what I would do. I came up with these bodies, but wasn't pleased enough to go further. The only solid win I had was the trap. I found just the right parts for that. Not being able to find suitable bodies I put the trap away unfinished. Until I saw it yesterday which made me go through my body box to see what I had and it all came to me. They wouldn't look like the movie or the cartoon exactly, but they would be recognizable as Ghostbusters, but with a more modern actiony look. The POC Duke bodies and backpacks look the part in my mind. Ray Stantz I used a 25th Hawk head for Ray and gave him is signature goggles, as well as a wrist mounted PKE meter. Egon Spengler I used Renegades Duke head for Egon and gave him Snowjob's goggles as glasses and part of a SW bowcaster has the hand held PKE meter and Scarlet Spider's pouch for storing snot samples. Winston Zeddemore Winston has Renegades Ripcord's head and POC Shadow Tracker's forearms. Peter Venkman I chose to give Peter the head that came with the body Duke's. Now here's that trap all finished. That's made from a bunch a G.I.Joe accessories like Lady Jaye's quiver. So what do you think guys? Any parts still not working? Or should I basically call these done? |

A stand in for the containment unit ala the Batcave/Wayne Manor playset.
So after posting this thread I decided the proton packs needed work. I added a nicer tip to the end of the thrower, plugged the extra hole on the back of the pack and added some color to give them more features. Any feedback would be great. Thanks. |

Pretty cool. I'm a big Ghostbusters fan too. Very creative.
