Damn, some of those look pretty cool! I gotta question the role play mask though, it seems like every blockbuster movie with toys has those and they just clog pegs forever

Interesting redesigns of the monsters, not much on the toys

Largest?
How does it stack up compared to the first movie large one? |

I could definitely pick these up as an impatient, impulse buy.
But I'm definitely holding my breath for NECA. |

Waiting on Neca as well before I go in on Monsterarts- I've got their classic Toho monsters that I'm super happy with- but don't know if I'm crazy enough about the Legendary redesigns to dump $$$ into them when Neca's will look just as good (probably... maybe...) but without super Monsterarts articulation

It's a re-release of that one. Notice the dorsal fins are the 2014 version and not the King of the Monsters version.

I've also been noticing a lot of the older Bandai vinyl figures popping up in my Walmarts lately. I ran into King Ceasar and Ghidorah the other day.
On a side note, a lifetime of watching Godzilla films, both foreign and domestic, and it never dawned on me until now just how many of his foes have wings and can fly... Last edited by Trivial Psychic; 01-11-2019 at 06:51 AM.. |

@Bo Ttef I'm most curious about NECA's version of Ghidorah, hopefully it matches Bandai's version in size at least.

That is a pretty interesting observation. Megalon and Gigan have semi-concealed wings, so overlooking them is understandable. Then you have oddballs like Hedorah, and I think even Space Godzilla could fly. Lol crazy. It's easier to list Zilla's foes that can't fly.

So Jakks is now doing the Godzilla toys? Damn, what is happening to Bandai? They are not doing so hot with losing the PR license, aree they?

That's not true. They were releasing a ton of vinyls for years at TRU. That's where the horrible image NECA got for their packaging came from.

From the look of the 3.5" figures, as well as the buildings & airships of the 6" line, these could be manufactured at the same facility as the Bandai Godzilla 2014 figures/play-sets. So they should be comparable to the Bandai line, IMHO.
