Wow, apparently I joined this site almost 2 and a half years ago...this is odd.
Anyways, hello all! British by birth, Bolivian by location and toy collector by choice I have almost a hundred Transformers ranging from G1 to Movie and have just started collecting Star Wars figures. I'm specifically looking to put together an Imperial army centred around my brand new shiny AT-AT. God, that thing rocks... Collecting for me isn't as easy as most of you, as there aren't a lot of toy shops here and the few that exist here carry old stock at expensive prices. Example - we've just started getting Transformers Animated here and a deluxe can set you back about $30 on a good day. So I do most of my collecting on holiday to the US or the UK, or when people come to visit me I get 'em to bring me stuff. My poor parents are bringing me over a boxed G1 transformer and some Scout Troopers in 2 weeks. Looking forward to seeing you on the boards! |

Thanks! Yes it is indeed, with all of the sound effects it's like having the Battle of Hoth on demand

Actually, it's the reason I started buying Star Wars figures again (mostly Vintage). I wanted it to be properly staffed. But now I have a dilemma: who should ride the speeder bike? A Snowtrooper or a Scout trooper? Quote:

Looking forward to seeing you on the boards! Who knows, maybe you can strike up a deal or two with some members in our Marketplace forums. Check them out, if you're interested.

I do have quite a list of stuff I'm looking for, especially as I'm looking to put together a combined arms battalion, so I will be keeping an eye on the Marketplace. Also, Doofenschmirz Evil Incorporated forever. |

Howdy!
I don't think you're missing out not living in the UK - at least you know you're not going to see any new product on the shelves! I tend to buy most of my stuff on BBTS as you can preorder stuff without paying in advance. Gotta get in quick with some pre-orders though.
