I saw both the new 3.75" & 6" Movie Masters® figures from the upcoming Green Lantern movie tonight at Toys 'R Us in Bloomingdale, Illinois.
The smaller figs were priced at $8.99 while the 6-inch figs are priced at $14.99. Last edited by hrothgars; 04-16-2011 at 12:45 AM.. Reason: prices added |

I saw the deluxe figures 3 3/4 figures for $14.99 at the TRU at Fremont, California on Thursday. I didn't see anything else yet, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for these movie masters.

Is this another junk movie line or are there figures worth picking up in this line?

I'm a 3 3/4 guy, and these are not impressing me with their plain paint apps and weak articulation (legs especially.) Sad...

I guess they don't seem that bad, I'm just not really into Mattel's take on the 3 3/4 scale.

I'm on the fence about the Movie Masters Hal. I'll make my decision when I see him in person.

The 3 3/4 line is just sad i feel like i am in the early 90's the articulation is so bad. As for the movie masters i saw them at my local Meijer and Hal's arms looked very skinny almost too skinny.

I may love this movie when I see it in 3D, but for now the figs are a major pa-a-a-a-ass.

I'll buy at least a couple when they show up here. I'm a sucker for 3.75".

I talked to 3 local TRUs in New Hampshire and they all said they have the figures but are not allowed to sell them until May 1st... so your store might have messed up and put them out, lucky you!
I actually love the green lantern and bought the G'Hu preview figure and while the articulation lacks, he does look nice on my shelf so I'll probably get suckered into the 6" line, at least for the main members of the core. |

guys remember its Mattel their figures especially any 3.75" figures are utter crap poor sculpts, paint everything. They don't compete with other toy lines like iron man, star wars, thor and what not

Saw 3.75" The Green Man, "Maximum charge hal Jordan" and Sinestro today- I was really looking forward to these but the articulation is terrible- old skool Star Wars figure articulation: making any pose other than arms-down or arms-up impossible. They could have skipped the hip joint altogether, as there's no way to make the fig stand any way except as it is the the package.
Sinestro seems to have starndard shouldere articulation but no elbow, waist or knee joints. Sinestro has this bright pink skin color that looks awful- he's supposed to be RED. The only good things I can say about these is that the sculpting on the Green man (who looks more like a frog than anything like his comic version) is nicely sculpted and each comes with a nicely detailed power ring....and the heads look like they pop off: they might repaint into some custom something you can put on a better body. And each somes with translucent green "energy" weapons/constructs that would look good with better GL figures or Heroclix Green Lanterns. I'll pick up the aliens when they are inevitibly put on clearance by year's end. Last edited by Jason Abbadon; 04-17-2011 at 06:35 PM.. |

Man, that price point for the 3 3/4 is a bit up there. I mean compared to current 3 3/4 lines form other companies, I can probably pass on this.

I would really like to see some new pictures of the 3.75" figures so I can decide for sure to continue hunting or not.

Snag the Movie Masters 6", pass on the 3 3/4" unless you need the accessories.

Okay, I can concede a bit of pink variation, but damn- the figure is fushia! Day-glo bright pink. Like a pink highlighter.
