WTF? Series 2 already? I still have yet to see any series 1 gremlin figures in stores yet, besides for the lightning gremlin.

All of those (Bat, Spider, etc) require new tooling and thus cost more money. There's no chance we'll get them if we let this line die (they did actually show the lady Gremlin at Toy Fair, but again: if this series doesn't sell, we're not getting a series 3). So, the moral is: buy, buy, buy!
They've shown a Spider at cons, but he's not getting released unless the line does well. He's huge and would have to be a box set, and right now just costs too much money for NECA to produce unless retailers really get behind the line, which means WE have to get behind it. |

If I could afford collecting another line, I would be all-in with these. Loved both movies and even chuckled at the Gremlins 2 reference in ASM (to the bewilderment of my wife, until I explained why).
Maybe I will see if my TRU has Series 1 on sale and go from there. Really love that Phantom Gremlin. EDIT: I'd also like to know who writes these press releases for NECA. This one was really painful to read and I kept seeing a neon sign flashing in my head that read "TRYING TOO HARD" a la Nostalgia Critic.

This line is great! The sculpts are all very solid and the articulation is really good as well. I highly recommend them to anybody with even a passing interest in the property. Definitely looking forward to this latest series. Hopefully it does well enough that they'll be able to continue, but like the other members are saying here; if we don't buy them now they won't be able to make any more.
