I ask because I've seen online that some people insist that the white ninjas that Hasbro released are actually Chaste Ninjas and that the Black Hand Ninja in the Wolverine 2 Pack is just Hasbro being dumb yet again but I've seen black Hand Ninjas before in the Heroclix line and elsewhere. I kind of like to know since I like to separate my good guys from my bad guys for sorting purposes. LOL.

No...we've seen White clad Hand ninjas in the snow around their Japan shrine and if nothing else, some of daredevil's Hand ninjas wore black (when he was posessed in Shadowland).

The red hand ninjas came stand in the first waves of MU figures and are a major pegwarmer for a lot of people. Hasbro released the white hand ninja in the army builder 3 pack that included 1 ninja, 1 shield agent and 1 hydra soldier, the black ninjas came in the TRU 2 pack with wolverine, personally the black are my favorite, that's why I bought 3 of them , I have 1 red ninja and Ronin to lead them all, local comic shop has like 4 of the red hand ninja's may make him an offer sometime. The ML figures had similiar color choices, red, white, black with green, and I think that's it. They're cool figures.

I bought that lot of 3 red hand ninja's on ebay from the chinese seller that sold the red skull in bulk. I just got them yesterday and they're great! 3 red hand ninjas for $13 was helpful to complete my army!

I think I've seen comics where the Hand ninjas were colored black. I army built the red ones to 5, and I have a few white Chaste MUs, but only one black one (actually my sons).

Red Hand Ninjas= Evil ninjas involved in organized crime.

White Hand Ninjas= Morally pure thinking, opposing members of The Hand who were once led by Stick. Matt was a former member until he became DD.

Black Hand Ninjas= Corrupted by dark magic, by The Beast, Hand Ninjas(?)

red hand ninja, mrs marvel, spiderman, and hulk are peg warmers along with the rediculous spiderman figures. Hoping to go toy hunting tomorrow and maybe find some new merch, picked up MS Deadpool, may get MS Thor, and would love to see some new MU figures... may get a stretch strike venom from my comic shop and some cap figures.

I had 1 of my local comic shop guys order him especially for me, so I had to get it lol.. lil pricey came to $28 with taxes, but the base is amazing, tons of weapons and very happy with the overall sculpt and design. I would love to get my hands on the Series 6 ML version or the more recent 2pack versions, but they're impossible to find and when I do they're $100+. I haven't seen much in the line of new MU figures come my way, no new Thor lines or IM2 lines, the Cap line finally hit. Time to get me some Hydra goons, already got me the main guys red skull and crossbones.
When I was there to pick him up I see he had the Marvel Select Thor so I got him to set it aside for me, he also had electra, and wolverine I believe. If my paycheck allows it I'll be snagging Thor Today. I Already own Cap and Iron man MS, Thor will be a welcomed edition. On top of that just scored me a ML series 1 iron man figure and gold variant as well, and some cap figures. Wallet's gonna feel a little light this week but all worth it once my toys arrive.

They are mostly red.
However Hasbro loves to repaint.
I use the white as the Chaste.
Black ones are Mandarin's foot soldiers. Now I just need a Mandarin.

As for the actual topic, I think it's safe to say you can make the Red, White, and Black Hand ninjas whatever you want. But IIRC, they are all technically comic-based. Personally, I think only the Black version should exist, but I have this crazy notion that a ninja's outfit shouldn't be in bright colors for any reason. The White version I'd only give a pass to if it was an Arctic or some kind of snow camo version.
