Agreed. Also.... no one says 4" except for 6" collectors. Those of us that DO collect this scale ALWAYS refer to it as 3.75" or the 3 3/4" reference. Regardless, it is just Mega Man and an Iron Man. P.S. by "always" I mean usually....and by "usually" I mean sometimes.

What's with that stupid scale war?! When I was a kid I had toys from each scale (12 inch Barbie and Action Man, 6 inch X-Man action figures and 3.35 inch SW Padme). The only reason to be scale nazi is to have toys compatible with playsets and vehicles which Hasbro makes NONE nowdays.
As for compatibility with playsets and vehicles, 3.75 inch scale does offer more to that advantage. That compatibility applies in various ways and not limited to just Hasbro. Other manufacturers produce or have produced vehicles/playsets to that scale and are relatively available. Back-collecting them is also part of the fun. Not mentioning the volume that 3.75 inch collectors can amass and display with limited amount of space. Lastly, while vehicles and playsets are on the decline, they are not extinct. It's more than likely Hasbro will produce vehicles for the next Star Wars installment for BOTH 3.75 and 6 inch scales. The latter of which i find impressive, given the cost and scale. But we have seen a rise in 6 inch scaled vehicles and not just from Hasbro. |

i wouldn't call it a war than an ongoing debate among avid collectors who are scale selective. Even labelling them "scale nazi" is extreme as they are just hashing out their differences than taking prisoners.

Didn't you see people here writes stuff like nobody buys anymore x scale ror I would buy this if it was x scale?! Not willing to buy toys from different scales is the defention of scale nazi. But those playsets and vehicles aren't made for this toyline! The only toy company that makes decent playsets and vehicles anymore is Playmates.

Technically that Iron Man pictured did come in a cinematic line that DID include vehicles. Yes tough, I agree with you both Sender and Louise.
I hope we can all get on and get along. One side, if there are "sides", should be happy that someone else gets something cool. We still don't even know if we are getting a SDCC exclusive or not. The line may even be cancelled. This tiny box set is all we got! Just sucks when someone with everything shits on your one thing. #3.75family

But those playsets and vehicles aren't made for this toyline! The only toy company that makes decent playsets and vehicles anymore is Playmates. The economy is rough and fans became selective with their hard-earned money. In turn, some grew sensitive to 'their' scale. The forum is one place to express their love for their favorite brands, lines, and even scales. Not willing to buy product for whatever reason (brand, manufacturer, or even scale), is not by my defintion a (insert reason here)-nazi. More specifically, if one does not want to buy the 2.5 or 5 inch scale toys, that does not make them a scale-nazi in my eyes rather selective with their tastes and thus purchases (yes, i know, double negatives). I'm not arguing your definition. Just stating how it differs from mine. As for the vehicles/playsets... Quote:
As to the other brands and back-collecting vehicles/playsets was an example of why members would continue to be, by your definition, a 'scale nazi'. Hasbro wouldn't be the only maker of playsets/vehicles for their collective purposes. Nor would Hasbro have to currently produce vehicles for their collections to prosper. As for Playmates making good playsets/vehicles, i agree. i would even add Lanard and Chap Mei. Not the best, mind you, for that age has come and went. But decent compatiable sets and vehicles. |

6" fans feign superiority while buying a bigger piece to display to their non-existent friends.

This is the dumbest thread I've seen in a long time with some just awful takes and stupid arguments. Not even worth saving.
