Are they trying not to sell figures?
I just don't get how this is a line release. DJ is the figure that will go on my Friday 13th cabin table with his center dremmelled out and painted like guts. I will pick him up after he goes on sale for $3 Last edited by Bearjew; 10-06-2017 at 07:51 PM.. |

I'm hoping that the name is just a placeholder or a deception. All we know for sure about the character is that he's played by Benicio Del Toro and we'll figure out more when TLJ actually comes out.

I agree, I fold, I am out. This really frustrates me. I am a fan off Star Wars and one of the main reasons is, and always has been, character design. THEY LOOK COOL! But these figures look pathetic. I don't care if the guy with the bee hive thing on his head is the baddest MFer in THE UNIVERSE. He looks dumb. Like he got ahead injury and escaped the hospital or something...so annoying. I don't feel much better about the robot with a fly head. It lacks originality to me, no creativity, effort, anything. At-act has MAJOR tactical flaws and weaknesses so in the new movie they make bigger ones? Lack of effort. Need a bad robot because BB8 WAS A success? Let's just paint him black and call it a bad guy. The good old days I guess are gone. Oh well. |

That Gladiator is sporting his actual MU 616 accurate colors. The trim of the cape and his chest symbol & belt parts were Gold on the SDCC version, these are Yellow. I've heard people saying he is sporting the young Thor or the Tombstone buck but it looks like the same buck the original sported. And can we start getting more members of the IG please?

^Haha... he does kinda look like toilet paper Johnny Cash.
I am happy we are finally getting Resistance Rey though... that is the only Rey figure I want... unless she wears a cool ninja jedi outfit later on or something. |

I don't intend to do this to come off as a prick who dissects every word but 4-LOM is from the good old days. 4-LOM and Zuckuss aren't Boba Fett or even Bossk levels of cool but I've always liked them. Dengar on the other hand I could do without, the only thing I've ever liked about Dengar is that Simon Pegg has voiced him (twice now) but other than that Dengar just looks like Johnny Cash wrapped up in toilet paper to me.
Wish they went for a likeness on his face sculpt instead of trying to give him an animated expression. |

I've got to agree Bearjew on this one. I don't even know who those characters are. Like I saw their names in a description on thefwoosh, but they didn't tell me which character was which, they just listed the names. It's cool that Hasbro wants to make useless background characters, but they should be doing that after they do the characters that matter and were important to the plots. Hell, where are the Ewoks? They were far more impotant than some towel headed dude and that black robot guy you saw in the background when Vader talked to Boba.

Those background characters have been made into figures in the past multiple times, dating back to the original releases in 1981, and sold tremendously well. Not to mention have played huge roles in the expanded universe. As a once (but not since episode 1) fan of SW, All of the background bounty hunters in Empire, were among my favourite characters. To each his own, but you can't really shit on Hasbro for trying now what Kenner did successfully decades ago.

Dengar, 4-LOM and Zuckuss have been some of the most popularly requested figures for the 6" line since they released Bossk. The ESB bounty hunters are extremely popular, and these figures look amazing.

Did you really just argue that we need ewoks before bounty hunters?

Doesn't one of the Ewoks play for Dallas as a RB?

I'm not one of those collectors interested in background characters (I remember being amused that people were goddamn LIVID that Doctor Aphra beat some background extra from Return of the Jedi in a poll), but clearly that's a pretty dedicated market given how many times these characters have been made into figures.
Dengar isn't a character I have even a little bit of interest in but a lot of people apparently are, so good on them. |

Awww, crap. Was really hoping they were going to release FO Disguise Finn as a Black Series figure. That would have been a no brainer.
Surely, such a major character deserves an SA figure each film? I get that the Black Series Finn for TFA was a slow seller. All the more reason to release him in a sweet disguise uniform. For fans of the character or just fans of bad guys. Would have been, well, if not a home run then at least a base hit. |

No offense to dr.kain but, I see you complaining a lot about needing to complete teams and figures being worthless if they don't finish a team. Hasbro is now only one figure away from completing the Executor bounty hunter group so Dengar and 4-LOM do serve a purpose in that regard.

There's a Black Series Finn in FO officer disguise as part of the second wave of Last Jedi 6" figures.

yeah, I meant I was siked to complete the original bounties.
4-lom, zuckuss, and especially dengar are needed for this line. to be fair I'm about 40 figures in the hole and have no practical desire to spend the kind of money it takes to keep up with this line and where it is headed. I do like looking at all the pretty toys, though. |

I'm pretty surprised that some of y'all have never even heard of 4-LOM, Zuckuss, and Dengar. For having appeared for a minute or two on-screen, those guys have always been incredibly popular.

but they have never released the waves like that or people would just buy the mains and lose interest.

You're right, but that was a time when waves were being released as like 20 figures at at time. The 6inch line is barely 4 figures at a time. Background characters are cool, but they have yet to get all of the main characters out. Ezra still doesn't even have a figure and he is the main character to Rebels.

I can't get over the sculpt/paint on the face of the upcoming Resistance Rey! She looks leagues better than the Jedi Training Rey that was just released.
