I've wanted a T'Chaka Legend since the moment he appeared onscreen. Thank you Hasbro!

Not interested at all in the Black Panther figures. They are just doing anything for me. I was really hoping for some other X-Men reveals. Deadpool legendary rider with the dog and squirrel is just straight up funny tho.

These look sweet.
I'm guessing they're working on getting the Shuri likeness approved? I'm guessing she'll be the build-a-figure? I can pass on Klaw (though I loved him in the film), but I'll be all over the powered up Panther. T'Chaka looks like the standout figure with all those paint apps - I'm hoping they all make it to mass production. Also thrilled that Man-Ape is getting his own figure. Loved him in the film. For those complaining that they are releasing an non-BAF Okoye, I'm guessing it is Ayo? The face doesn't look like Danai Gurira, and as head of the Dora Milaje, Okoye has gold accents, not silver. Are any of these Marvel figures 1/18 scale? Especially the ones in the subway car?

What’s up with the new BP figure? It looks like the last one, but with better, more accurate head sculpt?

Holy cats! That's a whole lot of Black Panther movie figures! Love it. Probably making up for including 3 non BP comic character figures in that first line.

I’m don’t mind the watermarks because it doesn’t allow folks to ‘steal’ the pictures. I’m just grateful that there’s coverage provided!
I’m having mixed feelings because although I’m happy to see more MCU characters, I wished Hasbro got them ‘right’ the first time. Example. Black Panther. I’m hoping we see more comic book characters in their classic suits! Last edited by LigerPrime; 07-19-2018 at 06:55 PM.. |

The new Black Panther wave made me squeal. M'Baku! Tactical Killmonger WITH that tribal mask??!! I hope either the mask is removable or we get the head from the 2 pack thrown in. Ayo! With extra heads for troop building, I assume? Can't tell if they are the same sculpt with different expressions, but that seems like a weird choice for a side character. Even with the relative importance of Ayo. The only figure I am confused by is the new T'Challa. We already have a powered up version as a Walmart exclusive if you need that. I definitely want T'chaka, but I would trade another unmasked T'Challa for a version of either character in their casual tribal gear. Whatever, though. I am so friggin excited.

So....not a single damn 3.75" figure?
Hasbro is getting none of my money- I'll spend it on Kickstarters or companies that put out stuff I care about.

No, everything here is 1/12 scale, including the SDCC exclusive Defenders subway set. Hasbro has just about killed the 1/18 scale except for what they put out for Star Wars.

It'd take virually nothing to turn that tactical Killmonger into a Steel Brigade trooper from G.I. Joe.

^ this times a thousand. Hasbro is overdoing the 6” figures and is doing NOTHING for 3.75” collectors. In the past I’d buy a 6” figure here or there but I refuse to do it this year cuz I don’t like how they are skipping 3.75” figures.

I just realized. The blue wasp figure. First of all that's exciting as there is the whole holy grail thing of the Toy Biz blue wasp who goes for thousands. And though this a general release it's cool to have a blue wasp. But even more interesting to me is her headsculpt looks exactly like Squirrel Girl as drawn in her New Avengers days. Just imagine those mime mascara lines.

I also don't see the point of the unmasked T'Challa, given that we have an unmasked head with the previous release. But I'm guessing Panther is the most in demand figure from the last wave, and they want to make sure every kid can get a Panther figure, so we get two in this wave. Wonder if he'll come with the masked head? |
