Not bad I guess. I do love how a 19" figure will be on a blister card. That's pretty awesome.

Very useful info. That Spider Man movie figure came out of nowhere, right? At least I don't recall ever hearing about that.

Blaster and Thor are the best exclusives here IMHO. That Blaster set is cool. It's like a definitive set.

I think it may be 6", articulation is on par with Hasbro's ML(double jointed elbows). It would have fit right in with the Spiderman 3 line and the line that came afterwards which mixed movie figures with comic. I think it was a figure that was tooled and ready to go but canceled, and Hasbro saw SDCC as an opportunity to cash in on the mold.

Funny thing is, Hasbro could use this mold to repaint in black and make up for their disappointing 6" Black Costume Spiderman from the Spiderman 3 BAF line. This mold looks way better than that one.

Yeah, but I don't really see anything special about Spidey, aside from the packaging. Maybe once we get more details, it will be self-evident.
Oh, and for those of you wondering about what will come with SDCC Galactus, the pics say it all. Hopefully, Hasbro will announce what will come in the retail version and where it will be available. For me, the only ones I'm interested in are Galactus and Blaster, but I doubt I'm going to be able to get either one on HTS after the Con. Neither one is as important to me as Soundwave was from last year. If push comes to shove, Blaster certainly has the edge.

I think Spidey is 3.75" for the following reasons:
1. Price - yes it could be just a re-release of an already existing mold/figure, but why sell it as a SDCC exclusive for just $10? Doubt Hasbro would do that for a 6" figure. 2. As mentioned, no waist articulation. Seems to be more in line with 3.75" figures. 3. Size of suction cup compared to the actual figure. If Spidey is 6" then that is one big suction cup. 4. The packaging hook for hanging the character on the peg is part of the card, as opposed to the clear plastic hooks that are usually, but not always, used for the larger figures. |

If it is small scale, then that's actually pretty cool that the double jointed elbows made it to that scale. It looks far better than any of the current Spiderman line figures.

Articulation is in line with Hasbro's ML figures though. Not all of them had waist articulation either. $10 is the price they sold for at mass market. Also, the Spiderman movies have been out of theaters for a couple of years now, and if this was an old mold that is just now seeing the light of day, it's an easy opportunity for Hasbro to cash in.

I wonder if Galactus can be removed from the blister and then put back in if you want to? I hope so. I like the idea of getting him a bit early, and the giant card is all kinds of fun. I would just like to put him back on card, if I feel like it.

I dig the vintage looking cap, and the Galactus figure is simply rediculous.. the size/scale and sculpt are awesome, and I can't get over the price $60 is very reasonable for the amount of toy you get as well as he beautiful packaging... My only delema is I want it, want to open it for the working leds and to play with it but the design and rareity makes me think keep it in the package... may have to get 2...

MIGHTY MUGGS LIVES! Nice two figures on that end.
Thor is great and the Spider-Man figure looks nice and is unexpected. I wonder if it's the start of a new line? Of course Spider-Man still should never have ball joints. It looks awful. Speaking of, it's disappointing to see that they really are using ball joints on the Ultimate WWII Cap. It looks so terrible and doesn't fit with the rest of the line at all. Lazy, Hasbro. The SHS package looks great. |

The SHS package looks great. I think it was concluded that this is because the SDCC Cap body may be reused for the Cap movie line so they are killing two birds with one story. Whereas obviously the Wolfie sculpt was from XMO |
