WOOOOOOOOO! Finally, I can have the decapitated heads of the Enterprise crew on wooden stakes outside my Secret wars Tower of Doom playset.
As a grim reminder that 1:18th scale is not for candyasses like that new cast. Or I cold swap heads and make an all Marvel villian Trek crew- Doomkirk the Red Spock, etc. Titianium Man for Chekov, obviously. |

I wasn't really a fan when the '09 movie came out, but over the past year or so I've gradually become a bit of a trekky. I'll most definitely be buying some Star Trek merch next year.
I'm excited to see that they'll be making some Kre-O sets. Hopefully they make sets from more than just the new movies. A little Pickard Kreon would be amazing, and a must-have if made. I might even get my first starship. The '09 Enterprise is, last I saw, still easy to get for pretty cheap, so if the new toy isn't an improvement I might get the old one. Can't wait to see what all they make. I never really gave the '09 movie's product a second thought, so hopefully it not selling so well doesn't negatively affect the sequel's line too much. Hopefully the lack of mentioning any action figures doesn't mean they aren't making any.

i think the toys rights of star wars AND star trek belonging to the same company is astounding. How long until hasbro buys the DC property lol. but seriously 4 inch star trek figs are going to be a customizers' wet dream.

Awesome, Star Wars and Star Trek now made by the same company! Hope this leads to TNG figures, I need Worf and some Klingons! Capital ships would kick ass too, make it so Hasbro!
3rd property...crap guess that rules out GI Joe Retaliation KreO then...

I've always liked Star Wars over Star Trek, but when the movie in '09 came out I kinda liked the film and even got some fogures, but I've always imagined how the figures would look like if they were the same scale as the Star Wars figures so the fact that Hasbro is now the ones making Star Trek toys then this could open up endless possibilities. Imagine having an Enterprise playset that GiJoes could use.. Awesome.

Toy fair may reveal something on that, but I doubt it. Next year more likely. These 2 seem like the big push for kre-o this year, to save for an off big movie year for something more fan oriented. (Transformers first year, then 2 big movie franchises the 2nd, then gijoe the 3rd year, etc.) |

Wow...that's a huge license "get" for Hasbro.
Sounds like they're going to be very conservative with how they roll it out, though. However, if this means Hasbro gets to make the figures for the next movie, then...yeah, things could get crazy. I'll be VERY interested to see where this line goes, but for now I only want to "demand" one thing from Hasbro: STAR TREK TITANIUM. Sooner rather than later, pleez. |

Very happy to read about this and look forward to seeing what Hasbro does with this license. If it's anything like how they've handled Star Wars and Marvel, we should be in for some serious awesomeness next year.
Assuming we make it past December, of course

I would love to see what Hasbro can do with it. I know they'll spend a lot of their efforts with the new movie, but I hope they will eventually make a TNG Enterprise. That would be epic.

Dear Hasbro -
I am a lifelong Trekkie. I have watched every episode of every series I have been alive to witness. I even play Star Trek Online. I only care about one piece of merchandise: the ship. Playmates turned out an absolute turd of a ship the last time around. You can do better. I know you can do better. If you need help, call Diamond Select. They know what's up. Remember: the ship. Sincerely, MonkeyBiz |

This is cool , maybe they can make Kirk's dad from the '09 movie by using Thor's head. Just give him short hair.

LEGO STARSHIPS!!!!!! WAAAAAANT!!!!!
Transformers tempted me, but to be able to make starships now out of lego/kreos, I"M SO IN!!!! Hopefully this means that Hasbro has the entire franchise lisence now, and these are sort of an exploritory product. I would kill to have me some SW styled Star Trek! It's sad how badly Playmates failed with the last ones. Granted, the build-a-bridge concept was brilliant, the figures themselves fell flat. Which is aweful, since Playmates was on the leading edge when they were making TNG and DS9 figures. Amazing articulation and sculpting for the time. And that was in the early-mid ninties. The New Trek figures were more primative than those. Here's hoping that the Kre-os don't just stick to New Trek sets, and the New Enterprise, Original Enterprise, Enterprise-E and a couple klingon ships. I wanna see the Excelsior! The Voyager! The D! DS9! The Defiant! Let's see SETS from TNG, DS9, Voyager, and TOS, too! Instead of doing one massive $80 bridge set, let's see smaller $8-$10 sets that construct and combine into full bridge pieces.

This is literally a dream come true for me. I posted over at the Fwoosh years ago that I wanted Hasbro to get the Trek license.
One thing I hope will come from this and another thing I know is coming: *Trek Transformers? Captain Kirk turns into the Enterprise?! *Star Trek/Star Wars crossovers/team-ups/wars. |

Wish they would make newer ships like the old Galoob Micro Machines they were more detailed than alot of the newer larger titaniums.
