What clamshells have had issues with the j-hook breaking? I know that blister-cards are a bitch to keep in decent shape in store and those j-hooks break ridiculously easy but I don't think I've ever seen a clamshell package have any j-hook issues. Or are you accidentally switching clamshell and blister-card here?

Yep, if they could package them with the least expensive materials just enough to get them safely to shelves and the store that would be great.
Again Hasbro doesn't have control over how much retailers mark up their products when will people realize this? Last edited by jestermon; 09-19-2015 at 08:34 PM.. |

Even if they send out reps they can't make people change their pricing Hasbro sells to the various store's purchasing departments not to individual stores.

Not to scalper/comic shops but to brick n mortal stores id think they could say hey dont sell above msrp. I dunno its all getting too expensive anymore these days and the quality is seriously down against what toys cost.

Wal-Mart: "We don't appreciate ultimatums, we no longer have need of any of your products." Hasbro: "Well crap, now we've just lost a billion+ dollars a year in revenue in 10 seconds." So no....Hasbro can't tell stores not to sell above MSRP. In point of fact, once its' in the retailers' hands, they can sell it for whatever price they want, and Hasbro can't really do a thing about it. The retailers are the ones with nearly all the power in that relationship, and without their support Hasbro would cease to exist rather quickly. |
