Joe, separate question: By any chance do you know when will the exclusives for hascon be available on their site?

Joe, I have seen pictures on Marvelous news of what appears to be a 12 inch Sandman. Can you confirm?

Finally. The face I've always wanted to see on a wolverine.

I agree about the face, finally looking like Wolverine. Does the face on the white mold wolverine look different to anybody else than the blue mold (In pieces on display board)?
I think they are different. I know the white mold looks to have sculpted arm hair while the blue mold does not. The yellow mold is also different. For example, the blue mold mouth (Wolverines left hand) tapers more closed while the white (& yellow) mouth is more open. Could this mean more variations? Oh man. That head sculpt and the arm texture look too good to be true. I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't the 12 inch. And if they hit all those matte and semi gloss colors; I'll happily buy him.

(I hope this post doesn't come across as trolling - it's certainly not meant to be)
I used to collect marvel legends back in the toybiz days, though have long since sold them off, but the pics of cable, apocalypse and the brown wolvie reissue at SDCC (I think?) got me really hyped for them again. I picked up a bucky captain america from ebay, still packaged, to dip my toe in the water, but I have to say, it totally put me off getting any more. It was mainly the type of plastic used I think - apart from various limbs coming warped out of the package, the whole figure just feels 'bendy' almost, with the knees the worst suffering joints. Is this just how they are made? I remember it a little from the mls I had, maybe, but in my head they were a whole lot more sturdy and used much stiffer plastic. I'd really like to pick up a decent figure of wolverine and some other key characters, but was just totally put off the in-hand experience - was that just a particular figure or wave, or is that just how mls are now? In the interests of not being totally negative, though they were let down by the plastic/build quality, I was really impressed with the sculpt and accessories in general. |
