Well, to be fair, one of our KK's was turned into a Chik-fil-a so it wasn't a total loss.

I think Krispi Kreme is just aweful. And anytime I mention I don't like them (I'm talking in real life) everyone around me jumps down my throat about how wonderful they are, and how wrong I am.
I think they have zero flavor. They taste like pure sugar. Glad to finally see I'm not alone...

Honestly, if you sold it, the money would go towards other likely less sentimental things and you'll never get the same feelings back that your keepsake will give you. That's one thing that some people just don't understand and it annoys me when people try to pressure me to sell things for the sake of selling things.

Thanks. I will have to do that sometime. My Medieval Artifacts collection really just consists of a few weapon pieces (a Mace head from the Holy Roman Empire for example) , and a small piece of a bill of sale parchment.

Sweet rides!
I have been a hobbyist/semi-pro/pro/back-to-hobbyist musician for over 25 years. I enjoy shooting my pistolas when I get the chance. Love reading, need to read more comics and graphic novels. I dig Koontz, and the Golden age of SciFi writers like Phillip K. Dick, Assimov, Ben Bova, etc. Customizing figures/vehicles/dios has been my main hobby and chief source of income for the last 3+ years, although I've been building models ans such for over 30 years. |

I'm a musician: Guitar/Bass/DJ, though just as a hobby.
I also professionally get paid to cosplay as a Red Lantern and visit kids at hospitals with other superheroes, this is probably my second favorite hobb aside from collecting. I guess it counts, I collect porcelain statues of skeletons, reapers and Dia De Los Muertos handmade goodies like sugerskulls and such. Last edited by Scythe; 03-11-2012 at 03:50 AM.. |

I just got (bootleg) all the Gammera and Godzilla episodes of MST3K! Those are sick funny and because the copyright owners of the big rubber monsters complained, they'll never release those episodes... I also collect bizarre artifacts and the occasional weapon- not guns (not my thing) but I have a couple of nice hand-forged swords, a macejowski war club (sorta a long thin baseball bat with brass studs all over it). And I have several nice original comic art pieces- Hellboy, GotG, Iron Man, Starman- and lots of great Greg Horn signed prints! His stuff is awesome! Tons of signed comics and severl expensive ones- Iron Man 1-300 with all the Romita Jr and Bob Layton issues signed! These days my roomate buys all the comics and I just read his! Today's Marvel and DC issues will never be worth squat anyway. And I have a Megalodon tooth- which always amazes me- something at least 18 million freakin years old! From the mouth of a gigantic shark! I'm also an avid fan of Radiolab and This American Life- both radio shows that you can listen to for free online. Rdaiolab in particular is amazing.
