Saw this on facebook, also on another website, they did a Q&A with "Howard Chan" who works for Hot Toys. Anyways, seems like Hot Toys will be making a character from 300: Rise of an Empire, more Villains from Amazing Spider Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Futures Past along with some video game things and all that.
With that being said I came across this on FB I already got a Wolverine figure... but this would one be a welcome addition to my collection =3.

If you could display it as either past or future, that would be pretty sweet.

That would be, probably cost a pretty penny. We will probably get both versions most likely, sold separately. Which is fine by me as I already have "The Wolverine" and I can just eBay the outfit what I am planning on doing to have an Origins outfit too

There are only 5 of this figure being made as its a competition on the blu ray, this has been confirmed on multiple Hot Toys Facebook groups.

I've checked facebook groups that I am part of and have seen nothing saying that is the case.

You know, I never had interest in the previous HT Wolverine figures, but I liked DOTFP enough that this Wolvie might become a must buy. Still need to see better images first though.

I got The Wolverine figure and it is my favorite, 2 costumes, 2 sets of claws, and a flipping Katana.

Best Wolverine they have done so far. Hopefully they will add more accessories for him, as fists/hands that have no claws rarely ever get used on these figures.

This is NOT a 250 dollar toy...
I got The Wolverine and got TWO costumes, TWO sets of claws, and a frickin sword. for 220 bucks... I MAY get this guy if he goes on sale one day but not the best Wolverine ou there, value wise.

No price point yet, but if I were to guess I'd say $224.99.
Looks like it is going to be $250. Wow. Last edited by MegaPrime33; 10-17-2014 at 01:49 PM.. |

I just don't understand...
You then got Starlord... for 234... with A LOT more gear, AND alt head.. Hot Toys needs to give their head a shake.

Oh my gosh. I don't even shop for Marvel collector stuff ordinarily, and I've never purchased a foot-long before, but if this is an accurate representation of the finished product to be shipped to customers, then I want one. Maybe it's the good sculpt of Jackman: something about this more than any other HT figure to date makes me use the term Grail.
Yep, I want one of these for sure. Wow. WOW. |

Good luck on not catching the 1/6th fever.
Guardian Predator caught my attention years ago before the Marvel and DC HTs had really even hit their stride. I said that Predator would be my only Hot Toys. That was 35 figures ago. Although, now that Sideshow is releasing a comic inspired sixth scale line, I'll be a lot more selective about the movie interpretations. Disappointing though. Most of my Hot Toys, seem to have better engineering, and quality compared to my Sideshow figures. |

Braggetty brag!
The psychology of it is fascinating, isn't it? Now that I'm in the queue for this one, I find myself digging through ToyArk's sponsor sites and secondary market to see what I've missed. Many of the characters are wholly unfamiliar to me. Guess I must be old. Are you saying that the process of designing and building these things is improving? That makes sense. Looking at the previous Wolverines, I sense a learning curve. This latest one is absolutely my favourite. So now we wait... Rgds |

This is so so so so so true. It started with Agent Coulson. I say to myself "I am content, I can die happy!"
Then... Tony Stark happened... "Coulson needs a friend... for they can bicker, yes, YES!" Then... well... I only have 5 Hot Toys [6th coming in the mail, 7th in December, and at least 5 next year] Yea... saving money is... what?

Something about the figure was bugging me, and I figured out what it is: that stupid little hair-lock "spit curl." It's contrived and cliché and annoying. It has to go. If Hot Toys doesn't do it, then I will.
