Very cool, though I have no doubt people will complain that it's basically the same figure as before with Superman with a slightly tweaked head sculpt.

I think his eyes should be a little more bloodshot (or have a reddish hue around them) and his five o'clock shadow should definitely be a little darker. Suit looks good, though I'd like to see a comparison shot with the regular version of Supes.
Of course, now I expect a Gus Gorman figure, complete with skis and a tablecloth cape.

Dingier costume colors. More muted.

Would have preferred a Christopher Reeve Clark Kent figure. It would make a better companion piece next to the first Hot Toys Superman. And now that they are offering the "Evil Superman" figure (which nobody ever expected), I'll be surprised if they DON'T offer a Clark Kent sooner rather than later just so that you can pose the two fighting each other like in that scene in Superman 3.

^^You mean the only part of Superman III worth seeing.
As for the figure itself I like it. |

That's kind of why I wanted the comparison pics. I think it should be more muted too, but I want to see this one next to the first HT Reeve Supes to make sure.
Oh, IDK; I rather enjoyed seeing Richard Pryor "skiing" down the side of a building. Sadly, it was kind of a metaphor for his career at that point, too.
