Gamora looks like she's trying to hold in a fart.

No, she really doesn't.
I'm impressed Hot Toys have a new Gamora ready to go, Hasbro couldn't even be bothered doing that.

On the topic of this Gamora's face: yeah, she just has that kinda-dead, slightly-too-neutral expression that some Hot Toys have. |

True, I meant to specify in the first wave of figures.
Yep, she looks very neutral.

skipping all these. the $$$ is just too much for minor color changes. (I try to avoid duplicates with HotToys any time I can)

A good idea in situations like this (if you're the kind of collector who always wants the newest look), because most Hot Toys figures at least retain their value, if not grow in value: sell the older ones and buy the newer ones to replace them. Unless the new versions have gone up in price from their original counterparts, and the originals' prices haven't increased on the aftermarket whatsoever, you'll have not had to spend a single cent that didn't already pay for the earlier version of the figure, and if the figure has gone up in value significantly om the aftermarket, you'll actually make a little money back by upgrading.

I bet we'll see them at the Toy Fair! I personally love what I see and since I tried to give my 1/6 HT Star Lord two regular hands I researched involved drilling a hole so one of the pegs could fit it did work (on one of the hands) anyway one of the hand pegs was brittle and broke off so he's an one armed Star Lord everything else though is in amazing condition. So yeah I'll definitely be buying a 1/6 Star Lord. In terms of the headsculpt which hasn't been shown yet do you think they'll go with a lighter hair color for him with a new sculpt? The Strange HT made me do a double take as I literally thought I was looking at a pic of the actor. I'm hoping that for his headsculpt. HT does deliver on likeness.

Does there really need to be two versions of this figure? Why not just do the deluxe as the normal release with the big gun and head sculpt?

I wouldn't mind having that Groot, but I have no need for another Rocket, so I'll do without.

SIGN ME UP! This looks glorious! I wasn't able to get Rocket for the first movie. Yeah money probs everyone can have them but the Regular version is a lot cheaper than what you'd think! So this makes me very happy.

The deluxe imo is the perfect package that gives you pretty much everything you could want for this figure. I still don't like that grey t-shirt, but it can easily be overlooked now. I really do like the action helmet sculpt the most.
