I personally don't have an interest, but I'm glad that they're making more dioramas.

The Chewie face worries me. Don't know if it's lighting/angle, but it looks off. Especially considering how great the others look.

Traveling through hyperspace aint like dustin' crops boy!
Chewie's face, to me, looks like it is more of a muzzle shape. Not too unlike a dog or lion. Which, I would assume a creature like a wookie would naturally have. Since he is just make-up and yak hair OVER a human face, a protruding muzzle with a real mouth isn't possible. The nose needs to be brought in, the eyes out a bit more for a flatter look and THEN, i think he would look the business.

Someone on twitter mentioned how incredibly detailed this is, and how it's bigger than the Delorean. I would imagine it would cost a lot more than it too.

Han Solo looks more like Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers? I think that's right.) than Harrison Ford.

I think he looks like Michael Fassbender playing Han Solo.

I can't imagine this will be for sale. It has to be just for the exhibit, right?

erm erm i guess it could be a BAF model where you buy certain parts to make it but it might be very pricey and very exclusive

they never released the 1/6 bat right? i can't imagine this thing being for sale either.
maybe they'll make a 1/12th version of this like they did with the bat. |

Well they did release a 1/6 scale Tumbler, and they debuted a 1/6 scale Tie Fighter at SDCC. I bet they'll release an X-Wing for sure if the Tie sells.

the bat was larger than the tumbler but much smaller than the falcon. so, i doubt they'll ever release this. i mean, imagine the price, shipping, etc. it's just impractical. |

Back in the late 90s to early 00s, the FAO Schwarz in San Francisco had a giant Millennium Falcon display that appeared to be scaled for the classic 12" Kenner Star Wars dolls (which would be about 1/6 scale).
These are the only pictures of it from back then that I've been able to find that someone shared online: |
