I haven't seen the movie yet, but that figure looks bonkers. That is an awesome looking Mysterio! I wonder if people will be mad there is no unmasked Gyllenhaal head, but I think this makes for an excellent display piece, I may have to flex pay for this.

Don't worry - the Jake portrait will be in the "special movie edition" that shows up right after you start the flex pay for the figure *wink*

I didn't really like Far From Home very much but that figure is gorgeous.

"Authentic and detailed likeness of Mysterio from Spider-Man: Far From Home" & "A newly developed helmeted head with LED light-up function (battery operated)" are listed as separate items, so maybe they don't have the alternate Beck head finished yet?

Maybe the seam in the helmet is part of it being able to open and show Jake's face or part of the LED function. I haven't ever seen anything like that (seam) from Hot Toys though and they usually at least show a blurred out image of the portrait head. Lucky to have them making it I guess.

Yeah, the costume was interesting, but there were a lot of things that grated about this movie, and I don't want to be reminded of it. I cancelled my impulsive pre-order of the black-and-red Spiderman for the same reason.

Spoilers for those that care... Yup... Ok... I warned everyone! Mysterio was a great costume, but EVERYTHING else about the movie was complete crap. I honestly preferred Thor 2 over FFH. Drones with machine guns and holograms were a poor explanation for LAVA that burned the buildings, PUNCHED buildings, and I HATED that Mysterio's costume was all a hologram too. I can suspend disbelief for a ton of things... talking raccoons, nanotech armor, Hulks, infinity stones, sorcerers... but a group of pissed off Google employees creating planetary-danger level beasts, and NO ONE but a 15yr old kid can be mobilized to stop it?!?!?!? Honestly, I am VERY disappointed with Spider-Man in the MCU other than his cameo in Civil War. I'm glad Sony held their ground against the Disney behemoth. Now at least Marvel can't keep Tom Holland from being pounded to pulp by Tom Hardy's Venom before teaming up to stop Woody Harrelson's Carnage.

I wish the Marvel Legends figure had been given an unmasked head too.

Maybe Jake Gyllenhaal's likeness rights are super expensive like Jack Nicholson.

If you click the link included, there's no mention of the Jake Gyllenhaal head. And the price dropped from $267 to $259. They also deleted the post from their social media accounts. Did someone goof and let out information that wasn't supposed to be?
