I have the first set, but might get this if the price is right; would probably go for the deluxe, the DS panel that came with Stormtrooper Han was pretty great.
I can't tell, does it come with 2 DS walls or is that like a reversible thing? |

Snagged the standard release, only $190 which is killer. Like $50 or $60 more for the deluxe just to get the light up base didn't seem worth it to me, might snag that elsewhere cheaper but I can live without it.

The new helmet is a worthwhile improvement, imo. They got it 'right' this time.

Well, the first version's helmet wasn't really "wrong", as it was based on ANH's "hero" version of the helmet with its smaller mouth grill and other differences, while this version's is based on ANH's "stunt" version of the helmet, which was the design used for ESB and RotJ.

Well, I just prefer the revision, with the slightly larger eyepieces and mouth grille positioned somewhat better for a human head to fit inside + see + breathe. As a kid, I remember wondering how the actors avoided more accidents, not to mention hyperventilation. Years ago, I roasted and nearly passed out from trying to dance in one of the full size armor suits.
