Damn...Hot Toys are called HOT for a reason....man..some of these things are absolutely INCREDIBLE....too bad my current income doesn't lend to collecting figures at that price point...or i'd be ALL IN.....

For all that they are....and they are, indeed, quite stunning....I feel like they should have more range in articulation (at least from what I'm able to glean from viewing photos, as I own not even one of these works of art). I guess, the clothes create an encumbrance when posing dynamically, because most of the poses I see them in are pretty vanilla.

As someone that grew up on 1/6 military (Dragon and 21st Century toys), we all know that articulations on the figure means zilch unless you intend on posing the figure naked. Once you put the clothing on, depending on fabric, it will restrict the movement of the figure. The figure may have double elbow and knee joints with bending toes, but once that jacket and boots go on top, none of that matters.

The Armored Batman, Bat Signal and Batmobile look awesome. Not feeling the other two Batmen. The one looks lumpy, like he is hiding a loaf of bread. The other one looks like he belongs in Spawn Alley, or kickin' it with Indy, Gyro Captain, and that kid that really likes Santa and the Tin Man.
Deadpool and Open Armor Iron Man are looking nice also.

Armor-wise, I sense a deliberate attempt to avoid a black-and-grey Iron Man, and that's a doggoned shame. A little shine and sophistication would have gone a long way. Next time?
Of the three options, I lean toward the trench coat version ("Knightmare Batman?") with a closed, serious mouth. It's unusual, Mignola-esque, and seems to lack the 'frumpy' aspect of the basic costume. And I like the fact that the peculiar Bat-emblem is obscured, as I want to imagine that he wears the emblem from Year One or Dark Knight Returns. Superman looks great. Really, they're all superb. The new batmobile is mind-boggling. Last edited by Skoob; 12-19-2015 at 03:49 AM.. |

These are amazing! I've been waiting all year for the BvS Hot Toys, and I love these. I do think that the body on "regular" Batman, is a little better than what we saw the other day. Hot Toys has a very good track record, and I do believe we will get a different mold for Batman. All we need now is Wonder Woman.

Looks like I'll wait for that Scarlet Witch. I like the red jacket being more prominent.
