I mean this is a must have right Hot Toys collectors? It's such a random HUGE figure. And it looks awesome.
But, I can only speculate on price. What do others think? Endgame Thanos is $400, but I wonder if the Avengers Endgame popularity drove that price. This has easily have to be a $400 piece you would think, if not higher. I don't like that the non tongue grinning version portrait is gonna be an exclusive. That will be like an additional $15 charge. |

I think this is an incredible piece for sure. And I think most collectors would agree it's a must own. I've personally yet to purchase any Hot Toys figures over $270, just don't have the funds for something like this but I cannot wait to see people's pics and video reviews of this beast of a piece.

Was really hoping for Movie Venom. Oh well. Will have to settle for Cosbaby Venom.
As a huge Venom fan, this actually does nothing for me.

I'm sure it will be in the low $400s. My biggest problem is that it doesn't seem to have any articulation below the waist. If true, it might as well be a power pose figure.

You were correct MegaPrime33. This is up for PO at $407 for both standard and "special edition" with the alternate face. I think it's cool they didn't charge "more" for the special head version, but that just means to me that they could have charged about $15 less for the standard version.
The other figures they announced, Rocket and Iron Patriot are up for PO as well for those interested. I will be passing on this. It looks limited in movement, and honestly I can't spend another $400 right now. The next few months are going to be brutal for PO's. Ha. |

A friend of mine is elated for this and preordered it at like 4am. 4 AM! Thrilled for those that love this.

This is actually smaller than Hulk by a couple of inches. My biggest issue with this is lack of articulation in his legs. And the price too, I don't think it's worth this much.

Ugh my OCD worries that since Hot Toys apparently has the "contest of champions" license, they could potentially do ANY character from the game which is ALOT of characters, and that if I skip this, and it sells out it would prolly be upwards of $700 on the aftermarket and I would need to somehow go back and get it if they keep continuing the line ha. Or I guess I could be responsible and buy just the ones I want that aren't almost $500 lol.
A regular comic venom almost seems possible since they did this figure and regular venom is in the game. They already have the mold just would need to tweak a few things and remove the "deadpool" likeness pieces. |

I'm holding out hope that HT gets a license to do classic comic style figures. They'll do a classic suit Spidey from the ps4 game at some point, but would be nice to have other characters and not be beholden to the movies.

It's strange to see a totally different trend here compare to other sites/social media.
I do like this but the apparent lack of POA in the low parts of the body is saying I should avoid this. But the description states that there is over 20 POA which is the same as Thanos... |
