Do you take the figure apart and paint it cause im new to this?

Different people have different techniques. Some take the figures completely apart, paint them, then reassemble it. Some keep the figure intact if they are not doing a full repaint. It's really bout experimentation to find what works best.
I'd suggest finding some cheap figures at a flea market, or clearance toys and testing on them first. There are a lot of people here willing to share advice, so don't hesitate to ask questions. |

Speaking of taking them apart, I"ve figured out how to take the MU guys apart at the biceps but how do you safely remove the arm at the shoulders for the use in customs?
