I thought I'd start a thread for everyone to post what your favorite anime toylines are and why. What is your favorite series? Who are your favorite characters?

Back in the day Gundam was always the secondary thing I was into next to TF's. Not so much anymore though, mostly as the new Gundam show's don't do it for me all that much (SEED etc..). I would say it's been Macross from Yamato but after it's all said an done the $200 price tag on those things kill any hope of actually collecting them, though I do have a few.
Interesting enough the big series I've ended up picking up has been Evengelion. Wile I don't hold the anime in as high a regard as I did when I first saw it, there's been a number of great figures to emerge from this series. My particular favorites are the Soul of Chogokin Eva's that were done, which I might add the line as a whole is absolute win which everyone should buy. Also have the Revoltech Fraulein Eva stuff as well. Last edited by Soundwave.ca; 11-23-2008 at 08:04 PM.. |

I'd say my current favourite anime toy line would be either my Gurren Lagann Revoltechs (going to need to track me down an Enkidudu once it gets released) or my Code Geass OSIA figures. Their top spot will be secured, just as soon as I can get my paws on the Gawain when it comes out. Damn that thing looks awesome.

I still have a ton of DBZ & Gundam figures, but I don't actively collect those anymore really. I really love the Revoltech EVAs, they are probably my favorite anime toys.

I'm a pretty big Ghost in the Shell fan. I loved Gurren Lagann as well.

I'm a big fan of Fate/Stay Night, Lucky Star, Planetes, Ergo Proxy, and a few others I can't recall right this moment...
..and I'm currently following Tytania, Clannad After Story, Gundam 00 season 2 and Kemeko DX.

I don't own toys from many anime shows at all. In fact, the only one i can recall being on display is my exclusive Getter 1 SOC figure, from SDCC. He's currently threatening my life with the Getter Tomahawk because I am lacking in the hot-blooded piloted mecha goodness at the moment.
