my personal favorite hulk from marvel legends was the one from the Faceoff 2pack with The Leader. Both are great. great size, great detail, one has an angry face, other has a stern face.

Marvel Select Hulk all the way.. I love the select figures for the bigger characters. If the Legends Juggernaut is hard to get or too expensive, pick up the new Select one! It's fantastic! I got mine from bbts couple weeks ago with the Gambit.

Select should be the perfect scale for a Legends stand-in.

The Marvel Selects is a cool figure but isnt that posable and IMO looks a little off next to other Marvel Legend figures. The face off hulk is a good one and I also like this Marvel Legends Hulk that I have. I think its one of the first Hulks that were made for the Marvel Legends series:

Face Off 2pk. He's missing an ab-crunch and his fists are weird, but regardless he's the prettiest and best overall Hulk figure ever made IMO.

I know the feeling though, Blade is 1 of my favorite characters, definatley in the movies, but I missed him long ago when that wave came/never came here. I need 1 myself, but I'll definatley keep an eye out, for either a cheap auction or 1 on a peg. |

Wow, I guess having Blade is a nice thing. I'm always keeping an eye out for him for everyone though. That wave seems to be the only wave I get around here. By that I mean I see tons of Red Hulks

ToyDorks - Hasbro Toys - Marvel Universe - Blade $39.95, cheapest I could find him. Ebay is $40 loose!, MOC goes for near $60, BBTS used to have him in a revision lot, but must have sold out. Good luck and if ya feel like bighting the bullet that site has him in stock and ready to ship.

Man I lucked out a month ago and got a loose Blade w/ all accessories for about 13 bucks on ebay. Just keep looking, people who don't know what they have put stuff up sometimes. Dude I got it from misspelled almost everything in the description, that's probably why no one else hollered at it. And it was in the states.

I found him at the Real Canadian Superstore for $10.00. I still see him once in a while. Will try to pick him up if I find any to keep costs low for everyone. I know what it's like getting it up the butt to get things you missed out on. BBTS had Galactus - Dark Version for $54.99 and I didn't bite and I just spent $80 plus $30 shipping on him. Spent $75 plus $25 shipping on the Goliath - Blue Variant because I bought the crappy red version a few months back. I'm all for supply and demand but when you try to inflate the rates to more than double, triple, quadrouple, ten times the original price just to ding people because you scalped everything before anyone even got a chance, that's pretty mean. I paid $40 plus $30 shipping for my Loki/Frost Giant and my understanding is that it only costs Americans $25 for this figure. That's just mean. I'm preparing to get really raped by the Sentinels when they finally come out. It's annoying that they simply do not stock these in my city which is pretty screwed up considering we live in a well known and large city. In fact, doesn't seem like they even carry some of these in Canada. I haven't seen the Gigantic Battles in ANY of our stores. And not one single Galactus. What gives, Hasbro? Are your numbers doing so poorly in Canada that TRU and Walmart simply won't stock your Marvel brand toys that cost more than $10 a pop?

Edmonton. I've been having to do some very heavy negotiations to get the best possible deals I could on my recent toy acquisitions. LOL. Tell me about it, we don't get jack and when we do, it isn't until like a year after it came out in the US. I'm serious. We didn't get the TRU Exclusive Masterpiece Grimlock or the WWE Legends Tag Teams TRU Exclusives until a year after they came out. Kind of makes it hard it know what to buy and what not to buy in advance. I bought all the WWE Legends Tag Team TRU Exclusives off a scalper on eBay for $40 a pop plus shipping and now a year later, I see them at TRU FINALLY at $31.99. Thanks Toys R Us. Thanks for nothing. Oh but are they consistent? Hell no. I bought the Giant Size X-Men box set off BBTS for $59.99 (which is still on its way) and yet ironically, TRU decided to stock those in mass quantity for $44.99. Thanks, asshats.

Seriously, who decides what gets stocked and when? It's like they don't even know the toy community. Do they do focus groups? Like what the heck happens? And how the hell do all my Walmarts have like literally 30 Multiple Men on their pegs? Does that mean they bought 30 boxes of that series? I mean how does this work? Who thought stocking 30 WWE Elite Mark Henry figures was a good idea? I mean who is the mass consumer? What determines which figures warm pegs?
We collectors, we're the adult consumer willing to shell out the full retail for our toys, but do we and in what quantities? How cheap are parents? Like when I'm at TRU or Walmart, usually I see parents are willing to pay no more than $10 on their kid and it's usually a really stupid toy that the kid doesn't really want. I'm willing to bet that MU figures are mainly sold to adult collectors. Why? Because kids don't know most of the guys. And for the price, it doesn't look very substantial to the parent. I was at Walmart and I was actually shocked when the 5 year old picked the Team X Wolverine figure over anything else. Although his only other choices were all Multiple Men or a totally different toy. The reason why MU isn't flying off the racks as fast in some stores is probably because of the high price tag in Canada, which turns off parents. And we the collectors don't want the figure, ie: Multiple Man/Classic Ms. Marvel. Man, I just wish I knew how they stock these places. It's a big blame game. The stores say they have no say in what figures they get and Hasbro says they have no say in who gets what so why don't you guys stop shipping out garbage? Like who is it? Why can't you just ship out the same number of figures in every box? Why the hell would you ship POPULAR characters in lower quantities? Don't you want your numbers to do well? Oh, let's make less Cable and Archangel figures but let's pump out lots and lots of Ms. Marvel and Multiple Man. If you guys make the Sentinel - classic colours variant an SDCC exclusive, you guys are dead to me... |

If Edmonton doesn't get anything, there is no way in hell Vancouver Island will. I emailed Hasbro asking "WTF DOODS?" and they pretty much told me "yea, so what, no one buys the shit in your area, sucks to be you". It's not even MU too. There are NO Gi Joes, I go down to Victoria and there was only 2 damn dukes. Star Wars is just as bad, we JUST got the Clone Wars wave from vintage. Sure, we get OODLES of Transformers, but all we ever get is wave 1! Why? Because Hasbro/stores order so damn much we got 10 of each character and it NEVER sells. If it doesn't sell, it doesn't get ordered. Swear it is all run by retarded monkeys, lots of them.
