Yeah, Brainstorm in Wicker Park carries a decent selection of DC Classics (Wave 18), Blackest Night, Brightest Day (Firestorm, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl) Arkham Asylum, and a few Marvel Select (Grey Hulk + 1 or 2 others) figures with only a slight mark-up ($19.99-$21.99).
The Exchange carries various action figures from various lines, but sometimes they have some unrealistic pricing. A Marvel Legends Series 3 Wolverine with obvious paint app issues was priced at $30 when I was there within the last week. |

Has anyone seen these yet? If not, any idea when they're supposed to start showing up?
Thanks, Larry |

Sorry, I put it in the title but it didn't show up. I was asking about the Wal-Mart Exclusive 6" Thor, Nick Fury and Captain America movie figures.

I have not yet seen these either. They were front pages a few months ago, but I haven't heard much about them since.
The gap between the Thor & Captain America movies and Avengers is going to be longer than it might seem (approx. 2 years) so they may be intended to fill the space in between the end of the earlier toy lines and the beginning of the Avengers toy line. Just a guess... I will be sure to post here if I should see them sooner. |

There is no Walmart in Oswego on Orchard. There is one on Ogden/Rt34. The WM on Orchard is in Montgomery. Toys R Us in North Aurora??? Where??? Is it a Toys R Us Express? There is only a Target in North Aurora. I haven't seen any Sif or Heimdall anywhere. I had to trade for Sif. I'm still looking for a Heimdall. |

Target Crystal Lake - Couple of TF Universe Scourge and Sergeant Kup, Some of the new G.I Joes, (the Destro figure looked so damn cool, but I refrained from buying it as I don't collect Joes)
Toys R Us Crystal Lake - Amazing stock of MU/TF Crossovers, regular Thor movie 3.75" line, Target McHenry - MU Imperius Rex Namors by the boatload, Darkhawks, X-23, Falcons, and the lone Gladiator remaining New Super Walmart McHenry - Super stock of most TF DOTM including Shockwave, Good collection of Captain America movie line, same for Thor. If any of you are looking for something specific, I could go over and take a look. I'll be hitting Algonquin tomorrow all day and scoping out Kohl's, Super Target, Toys R Us, and Super Walmart there (all in one line). Will update with what I find there. |

Kohl's Algonquin - major dud.
Super Target Algonquin - Some good stuff there. Still carrying quite a few MU figures from previous lines, including Moon Knight, Doom, Falcon, Thanos, Skaar, World War Hulk, Darkhawk etc. Regular figures of TF DOTM, TFU, TF Generations. Decent DCUC collection and awesome stock of Batman Legacy Collection. Toys R Us Algonquin - Good variety of DCUC, MU, TF DOTM, but not too much from other TF lines. Awesome collection of The Walking Dead, WWE, Halo. This is one extremely well stocked TRU. Super Walmart Algonquin - nothing of note here, regular popular stock of TF DOTM, MU, WWE. Poor stock of DCUC, although I did spot the DCUC Crime Syndicate of America 5-pack. I was very tempted to pick it up as it looked spectacular sitting there, but then I remembered that I don't collect DC stuff. Surprise package was the TJMaxx right next to TRU. They had GIJoe ROC 3.75" figures for $4 each. There was a Rex The Doctor, Cobra Commander (disfigured head), and a few Storm Shadows in various stages of a$$ whooping. @ hrothgars - I didn't see that Mad Love 2-pack anywhere. Sorry mate. But you might still want to check out the Super Target and TRU at Algonquin for their decent stock. |
