So, this id a breakdown of this awesome figure.
Hope to do more as I go. $19.99 on sale at Target, haven't seen them at WM yet. Figure: Head right to left movement, wrists turn, shoulders rotate and bend up, the head and shoulder gear do hender it when on though, unfortunately his legs are on the same bar and there is no ankle or knee movement. |

Dino Tech Gear:
The large harness has 2 stoarge ports for the 2 large green firing missiles even though the instructions don't mention the storage, I don't know what else they would be, they don't turn which would be neat. Harness covers the chest as well attaches under the body on 2 tabs stays on very well, I thought it would be too tight to remove multiple times, but the harness is a much softer plastic than the dinosaur so it removes easily. The control panel is a very detailed sculpt it has a image of the dinosaur and the status of the 2 missiles sculpted in no stickers here, has the usual foot activated action on other sets, turning the pad one way fires the missile on that side. If you don't have the foot pad in the right posistion the missile will fire by itself one seems to fit ion one side better than the other. To fit the mining theme he has a working crane on the back, which is very neat but hard to wind up since it's close to the figure, and doesn't actually rotate up it does turn 360 degrees. Finally they all come with a pimped out "brainbox" only the Rulons had these back in the day, but it looks great on and has no visable sprue cut, as if it's one piece and not cut off a larger mold. It goes on by friction and stays on well and comes off easily. |

Dino:
I thought these were all re-used molds from the old line but this is a new sculpt it isn't the same as the stompin' action one. He has 360 degree rotation on his neck, 4 back and forward legs, tail goes up and down, unfortunately no up and down head movement, but it wouldn't have worked geared up and the chest guard looks much neater than a folded down dino neck joint. Scult is super detailed, looks like fur on some parts but I think it's extra scales covering the legs. Also, it has these smalls pebbled flecks mixed in kind of how Mega Bloks has the swirly colored bloks. The half smile also takes me back to Ninja Turtles, Barnyard Commandos, Bucky O' Hare figures. |

Gured' Up:
Ok, this is obviously the meat and tater's of the review. I put an image of a couple of size comparisons, you get alot of plastic for your money. Also, the "brainbox" is a watch out post. |

Nit Picks:
I love this guy you get a figure and a mini playset all in one. I was thinking of repainting this complete guy but the blue, dark gray, and clear green do it for me, and the Chrome is just too wierd to not like. I can't wait to get the other sets. Pouts -Needs 2 figures to fill both stations -Needs 2 more missiles to fill up the firing ports and the holders - Needs a piece of the Volcanium and the hand tool that the smaller sets come with - Needs up and down pivot on crane - Need to be called Dino-Riders so I can Harness the Power On sale at Target now. |

That is a very impressive set. The ones I've seen up close are the trex and pterodactyl. Had no idea this set had THAT much going on! Pretty cool.

I also wish it came with extra missiles. This is a very cool set and it looks fantastic battling against the T-Rex. The armor is so easy to remove. It's very tricky to put a figure on the head gear and to have the figure hold those handlebars.
