Already?
This wave was SUPPOSED to have for Street Fighter Classic Chun-Li vs Vega and M. Bison vs Akuma. And for Super Street Fighter IV, Ryu vs C.Viper and Ken vs Rufus. I think. |

Well hell. Next time they best come correct and not initially offer grabbage product. Those w1 Ken and Ryu sculpts were pure crap.
I appreciate the hyper-styling they attempted, but next time they need to have a compatible flow and feel with other, more popular 1/18th lines (Marvel Universe). And, sorry for your loss, Th0r4z1n3.

After giving it a bit of thought, it does say "Modern Series 01 of 02". This could also mean that they are just done with production on Series 01 and are getting ready to start production on Series 02? There are also two separate series', Classic & Modern; there was no mention of the Classic Series. This could not be as bad as it sounds.

Do the Street Fighter lines get cancelled every time they start to make characters other then Ryu and Ken? Seriously, A year from now they'll release another line with Ryu ken and Chin Li, and it will be cancelled. It's unbelievable

I was looking forward to Akuma for custom purposes, and also, any of the more obscure/darkhorse characters.

Ahhh... Actually I got all 4 two-packs not too long ago and ended up returning them. Both figures in the first two-pack I opened were broken right out of the package. I figured if 2 out of 2 figures in the first pack I opened were broken, I wasn't even gonna waist my time with the others. They were an impulse buy anyway.

I'm not surprised. I don't think these turned out as intended and the end result were toys that weren't that appealing. I was going to buy some but once I saw them in person I was disappointed. This line had a lot of potential.

Yep...due to this line being pure scrap in terms of quality, not many were willing to shell out the dough for inferior product. I'm kind of glad it's been discontinued.

The only Street Fighter figures that were of good quality and went for a while were the SOTA figures. I have every character they made, even the final wave that was boxed and the Goken figure too. They got every main character (the big 12 from SF II) out and were only halfway done with the secondary characters like from SF Alpha, Super SF II and such.

Seems like BBTS is cancelling all their long term pre-orders which haven't been filled by the supplier - they cancelled my PopCo Nintendo mini figures series 04 pre-order as well (which I'm pretty sure I've had since about 2008/09).
Maybe the 4" MMPR figures will be next!?

The only thing I was REALLY disappointed about this line was the proportions. Hands on most figs were WAY too big.
I was more disappointed about the terrible quality of the MK classic "ninja" and their not-Baraka. |

Yeah, the MK figs were awful too- even the character specific figs look real bad- soft details and sloppy paint apps...
