I picked up the Ken/Blanka pack. They're very cartoony with think paint aps. After opening, I checked Blanka out first. He comes with extra, fist hands, but his hands come off way too easily. Still, his articulation works well.
Ken seemed to feel a little more solid. He comes with a thumbs up extra hand. His articulation gives him a little more range. As soon as I tried to move his right ankle, his foot just snapped off. Sigh. I think these are ok, if bland, efforts. And obviously be careful moving their parts for the first time. |

Awesome pics, Symbiote. Still, what the heck is up with Ryu's giant noggin?

I dunno, man. His eyes look like they're either right in the middle between the top of the head and the chin or slightly beneath, making the upper portion of his head look enormous.

I know it's Jazwares but I was still expecting better...
I'm also just wondering whether any brick&mortars will be carrying the line. Their MK line didn't really drop at my local TRU which was the only carrier in the first place. Maybe it's for the best, though, since there's not a strong money to value ratio on these. |

Yeah I must agree here. Some of you thought the quality of MU was bad but the quality on these guys is worse. My Ryu has a loose right calf, Blanka's hands don't really stay put, and Sagat's left leg comes off since I was moving it around too much when I got it. I guess the movement sensitivity is similar to that of the showdown figures. But yes beware when handling these figures, they are a bit more frail.
Here are some more pics. I added more figures from other hasbro lines to give you guys an idea of the scaling here. but then i heard how fragile they are, and now i have second thoughts...but aside from ryu, the sculpts are good for 4" figures, i just wonder why they made that ryu head's color different from the rest of the body? |

If they're that frail, I might pass altogether. I just can't get over how off Ryu's face is either.

I know this sounds kind of weird, but my one complaint about this line is that Ken has markings on his belt.
Ken never had markings on his belt in any of the SF media. Only Ryu did. Its just a little annoyance. |

Ummmm.... WTF?!?! Why does Ryu's face look like Charlie Sheen? Is that what the dark Hadou does to Ryu? Turns him into a womanizing drug abuser?! LOL
