Just caught wind of the trailer. Thought I'd leave this here for you all to see. Watch and let's discuss how we should look forward to its release.

I am stoked for this! Rumor has it that they're using elements of one of my favorite JLA stories; Tower of Babbel. Will Batman get kicked out of JLA at the end of this movie?
Man I can't wait to see how this gets worked in.

This is based from the Tower of Babel storyline...
I hate that they took off Aquaman and Plastic Man in the original and replaced them with Cyborg. Ra's al Ghul doesn't seem to be a part of this either...I believe they were trying to go with a justice league that was similar to the current line up in the comics, but the current line up also has Aquaman? It just seems dumb to take out Aquaman and Plastic Man for Cyborg.... Comic fan rant aside, I am excited for this movie dc animated movies ALWAYS delivers (Under the Red Hood, Mask of the Phantasm, Crisis on Two Earths, etc.). I am so hype for Batman Year One, and I know this will be good too! |

I think he should have played Hal in the GL movie. |

Indeed it is. Tim Daly is reprising his roles as Supes. Then again, fan favorite Kevin Conroy is back to being Bats. Seeing these two voices side by side is what I like when I think of Superman & Batman.
Michael Rosenbaum is going to play Flash (He did Flash in JL/JLU). Susan Eisenberg is going to play Wonder Woman once more (JL/JLU). I can go on a bit more but you get where I'm headed with this. They're bringing back some old voice actors that just fit the character best. |

I just saw this the other day.
I suppose I was not impressed. If you are familiar with the Babel story arc, then the "twist" in the movie will fall reeeeeeeeeally flat. It would probably be a much more enjoyable movie if you don't read up on Babel at all or the movie plot synopsis before watching. I would watch this group of characters & voice actors read the phone book, but this really wasn't the greatest adaptation of the story, IMO. Quote:

I'll probably grab this on Overstock in a year or two when the DVD is less than $5. I did love the character design for Metallo. We need an action fig of this version of the character! Ace from the Royal Flush Gang was also pretty rad. Last edited by hrothgars; 03-12-2012 at 09:21 AM.. |

yeah i was left a tad bit disappointed with this movie...
another thing that caught me off guard was Michael Rosenbaum(sp?) voiced Flash...but it wasn't Wally West...he was doing Barry Allen...Michael is known and associated to Wally...so to have him voice Barry Allen...it didnt seem right... |

Add Cyborg if you want, sure, but not at the expense of the other core characters. I'll probably grab this on Overstock in a year or two when the DVD is less than $5. Watching it really did feel like watching an extended Young Justice episode, minus all the teenage characters.

oh! i also want to point out Martian Manhunter isn't even on the current Justice League in the new 52 lol
AND, and... I'm pretty sure Bane in Young Justice looks better than Bane in JL Doom, although they pretty much use similar designs and styles in this movie and YJ lol Last edited by xhavoc86; 03-12-2012 at 01:22 PM.. |

I thought it was a really good movie. I havent read the source material this is based on though, although i have read alot of the other DC animated movies comic book counterparts before the movie, so i understand people annoyance at them replacing characters and changing the story etc.
Like all the movies, it is rushed, but good for what it was.
