I never had either of these lines when I was a kid so it's hard to choose.

Ok, this was a hard one to choose. The Karate Kid figures were epic for me when they came out! And the karate chop and kick action features were perfect for this toy line. I even loved how each character came with an accessory that could "break" when struck.
The Police Academy figures were fun. Based on the cartoon, the characters didn't look like their movie counter-parts but they were still loaded with pretty fun play features. The thing that put it over the edge for me was the awesome police precinct, which I still used (up until I recently sold it) for Marvel Universe figure dioramas. All in all, I have more memories of playing with the Police Academy toys so it gets the win for me. |

I only had Police Academy figures and only 2 of them. But I was young and had no idea who they actually were, so I used them in my action figure wrestling league and renamed them. I finally know their real character names now! Mine were as follows though..
Flung Hi was "Chinese Chopper" and this is suddenly racist now that I'm an adult. SWAT Eugene Tackleberry was "Masked Iron" and would climb the top rope, pull down his mask, and deliver his finisher.. the flying headbutt. This brings back some serious memories.. :*)

I had the Mr. Miyagi figure. He chopped and chopped until his arm flew off. Karate Kid. Though I know some of you MU collectors are looking for the precinct police station online

I never had any of these when I was little, but the Police Academy toys looks like they would have been fun.

Same here! And I'm a fan of both movies.

Both of these lines repulsed me as a kid and still do.
