Gotta say my son loves that King Kong. I bought it for him for Valentine's Day and he's still playing with it. There is great fun in putting a figure in his clutching hand. Too bad he wasn't made to eat his victims. That's about the only thing missing from this fun kids toy.

"awesome enough that collectors would pick it up".
"we have to get the likeness just right"

I laughed at those 2 statements, otherwise pretty fun video.

That's great and all but that's not this Kong. Wasn't a fan of the 2005 movie at all anyway. I really hope SH Monsterarts makes one of this Kong.

It's a pity the toyline is subpar since the movie is pulp in the best way possible!

Anyone know if the line is going to continue. A wave 2? Maybe a bigger Skull Crawler?

Stranger: Sorry, but I gotta tell it how it is. This movie looks like garbage...

You wee tykes on this forum are a hoot... This is a great movie--you need to go back to the '60's era DC Comics Star Spangled War Stories and seek out the issues that are the dino tales where WWII and dino's intermingle... This movie is a great rendition of those comics...!!!

Google " star spangled war stories dino " and check out the comic cover art...!!!

Jumping on a forum and yelling "all you children are idiots for not liking this old thing", even if that old thing is good, is not a good way to endear yourself to the people you're addressing.

Agreed... that movie was bad ass in every way... hell now I want to pick up some of those movie TOYS. Remember, these are meant to be low cost KIDS toys and as a collector I'm tempted as the movie was really good.
