First Order Snowspeeder with Officer. First Class II reveal, and pretty much guarantees a FO Snowtrooper in future waves. |

Complaining aside, look at that bombastic card art. Beautiful. They need to bring back the Vintage Collection with that kind of art for the collectors. Edit: I just clicked the link Steevy posted. What the hell were they thinking giving a Snowtrooper an orange pauldron? That makes zero sense. Last edited by Zend; 08-14-2015 at 07:48 PM.. |

What about black watch plaid? Imagine how he'd look playing the bagpipes! |

Ok I would buy the plaid one - if they gave him the articulation required to hold the bagpipes with both hands. But still, on a snowy planet why would they ruin their camouflage by wearing a colored pauldron like that? Didn't the Snowtrooper officers from the original trilogy just have a chest emblem to signify rank and it was barely noticeable?

The little inserts in front of the figures say Vader is Episode IV but that's his V and VI look, and then Boba Fett has the V label but that's his VI look.

Those 'Elite' figures look very nice, better in some ways than Black Series, but I don't want the whole set, especially not with that big bulky package! I look forward to a chance to purchase them individually at some point in the future.

First appearance of what I'm calling the "Hero Series" Millenium Falcon
Rebelscum.com: Hasbro: The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon Found At Retail Last year, Hasbro transitioned their naming structure from "Titan" to "Hero Series" for the "shampoo bottle" line. Early listings showed a vehicle assortment under the same name, and probably follows the same formula: low cost, decent size. Lego has also sent out their promo images for their initial Force Awakens offerings, giving us a potential peak at future figures and vehicles for other lines Rebelscum.com: LEGO: The Force Awakens |

For a 6" scale those don't look good at all. Only Grevious looks worth it. I though these were 3"3/4, so single jointed elbows aren't really acceptable these days lol

Still waiting to see some either die cast or something of the new X-Wing so I know I can pick one up on Force Friday. Hoping Captain Phasma gets a Black Series figure, but if not, the smaller one will do fine.

I definitely wouldn't expect that much articulation since these are die-cast and not really action figures.

Looking at the photo again, those 'figures' seem quite awkwardly posed, as if flexible joints are held in place by blister packaging. Are we certain that there is no articulation at all? Are they poseable 'figures,' or static 'figurines?' Last edited by Skoob; 08-17-2015 at 12:35 AM.. |

Right, right... This 'Elite' thing is mainstream stuff after all, not in the same price range as the die-cast articulated stuff that shows up sometimes in high-end specialty retail.

I have always wondered why it is so hard for them to nail female characters... look at poor Rey!
For some reason, if their girls don´t wear a mask, they always fail miserably with the sculpt. I don´t get it. |

Spotted 6" Black Series figures at my Walmart and the Kylo Ren lightsaber. Attempted to buy the lightsaber, but it wasn't in the system yet.

I'm going to be needing those First Order Lego kits.
Is it me or does that new Falcon just look like a re-jig of 7965 with a new dish? And it still looks like a 1-person cockpit to me. |

Today's updates on the continued leaked of the Force...Awakens toys
Rey's Speeder has appeared, from a Target store, surprisingly. Figure looks to be part of the same Class I assortment the Elite Speeder Bike and Assault Walker, including a 5 POA figure (until proven otherwise) Jedi Temple Archives News: Rey's Speeder Bike Found! Features her desert wear and a different accessory, possibly different legs from a potential future single pack release Also an appearance by Spin Master's "Box Busters" new line of STar Wars sets. They have an almost "Mighty Max" feel to them, but with vehicles rather than figurines. Think I saw a pricepoint around $10-13, and are interesting enough I might pick one up if I see one. Jedi Temple Archives News: The Force Awakens Box Busters By Spin Masters Revealed! JediTempleArchives received "confirmation" for a prior rumor about the fate of super articulated figures going forward: That they will become "big box exclusive", though that in and of itself is a bit vague. Though it does correlate rumors related to a "Chrome Series" of TRU exclusives (which the recent Rancor Pit was labeled under in TRU systems) Jedi Temple Archives News: CONFIRMED: TBS-Quality 3.75" Figures To Become Big Box Exclusives My guestimate is that, given we've seen a shelf space on a Walmart modular, Walmart might be the exclusive home of 3.75 SA Force Awakens figures this fall. Chrome Series launches at TRU in the fall with a more Legacy focus, with TFA stuff cycling in next year. We'll see. If true, I might actually brave Midnight Madness to see what I can get locally. |

Guess what folks?
That pesky toy catalog leaked out on the interwebs! Showing what I assume is "day one" items, and obviously doesn't include any store exclusive items (which may well include SA figures in the 3.75 scale) Sandtroopers still it up in their Facebook feed...for now.... https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...5562741&type=3 |
