So went to a Walmart far out of the way, saw 2 variant Extremis Armors and Thor, picked up Thor and 1 Extremis, 2 hours later just noticed he has TWO of the same thigh! Ugh. No wonder one moved a little higher than the other! No these can't be switched around, the left and right thigh are uniquely shaped.
The silhouette isn't different but the surface definitely is. Being as it is, I don't feel like going all the way back for a return/exchange. I will most likely just keep it. If the shape was too dissimilar I would definitely feel OUTRAGED but right now it's not as bad, and not as noticeable. Not like the time I got the Transformer Captain America which ended up with 2 right feet....ugh wtf. In other Hasbro-VS-Shin news I lost one of Renegades Storm Shadow's ninja stars. FML.

You have something like three months to exchange a figure. I can't imagine that trying to fix a defective figure yourself is less time consuming that going back to the toy store.
Legends IM blows anyway. I'm kicking myself for passing on the movie series version at Marshalls a few weeks ago for $5. That one looks a lot better than the Extremis version if you ask me... he's just too tiny.

I'd definitely return it. You have a legitimate reason.

You could always buy another one down the line that has the correct number and placement of parts and return your first one as defective.
I would return it at some point. It's defective. It's not like a paint app is screwy or some plastic weapon is slightly warped. It was mis-assembled at the factory and should go back to Hasbro to be destroyed.

I called this from the beginning. Hasbro sucks when it comes to anything bigger than 4 inchs. I've seen ML Peg Warming like mad, and have noticed errors from broken figures to wrong parts when I look at them. I went to TRU and Thors head was off his body.

I bought an MU Cap once with two right feet. It doesn't matter what the line is, or the size of the toy; people make mistakes.

If I find another one at a closer Walmart I'm gonna exchange it. It's a shame because this is actually a kick ass figure. The sculpt, articulation, the way it handles, it's much better than the MU version(and doesn't have the thunder thigh look).
