Money and space! I already have a huge Transformers and Marvel Universe collection, so can't really justify going all out on another line, so just trying to limit it to my favourite characters.

The GBP-1S Ground-combat protector weapon system is the ultimate upgrade for the VF-1 Valkyrie fighter! This LEGO creation is a full armor system that attaches to my existing VF-1S Valkyrie LEGO model without the need to remove any major parts. The armor features an impressive array of artillery which includes 12 separate missile bays.
If you really like this model, please register and vote for it at LEGO® CUUSOO | Robotech: Veritech Fighter VF-1S Also please share the link with anyone who would be be interested in seeing this model become a real LEGO set! |

ALERT! I am slowly becoming an expert on bootleg Lego blocks.
THIS brand, POWER ADVANTAGE, is HORRIBLE. The blocks either won't stay tight, or won't go together. There's too much sprue-tree leftover plastic.

I'm a little annoyed at lego over the ending of Monster Fighters.. I cannibalized the Helms Deep set with a Police set to make Dr.Jeckyls Lab Made Headless Horseman, I added theFortune Teller and Madusa. I still need a Witch.

You and me both bud! It was such an amazingly fun theme with some truly fantastic sets. I only wish they'd release some more in the line. Oh well though, I'll just enjoy what I have. For shame Lego!

And, this set from Wal-Mart (no real branding of the block's parent company visible on the box) and the tank I built is nice (I've yet to build the other 2 models)

agree. but I think sales were bad as every where I went the sets were on clearance. you can find a witch in either the mini figure series or the Halloween mini fig set that the lego store/site carried that came with the zombie and vampire...

They ended it because the line I would say it would be more for people who love the Classic Movie Monsters. There was a lot of places the line could have gone but they ended it and replaced them with another Alien Line

here are my creations... The Headless Horseman, Dr. Jeckyl's lab with the Fortune Teller, Medusa's Lair, and The Wizard.
How I made The headless Horseman is the Body of the Hearse Dracula with his Sword and cape, a Pistol from the Police ATM Robbery set, the saddle is from the Smaller Helms deep set, the head is a painted Sam Wise from the Shelob set with a Carrot top cut down to look the right from Gandalf's Carriage set as is the Horse side and a round 1X1 to keep the neck topped. Dr. Jeckyls lab is the Smaller Helms deep set built by instructions except I made the Window Bigger and placed the computer from the ATM on a table I made. On the top is the head of Dracula a spare Moonstone from the Swamp Monster and the Minifigures of Mr. Good and Evil and the Fortune Teller the Satalite Dish came from the Moon car. Medusa's Lair is just the Swamp Monsters lair without a Moonstone The Wizard is Gandalf with a Yellow Face from the robber Minifigure and the fish from the Medusa/Swamp Monsters Lair

I'd like to see Holiday Mini figure packs. Halloween, Christmas, Presidents Day, 4th of July. Presidents Day could be really neat Mini figures of Different Presidents (current and Former) each time. 4th of July would have an assortment of Solidres, Uncle Sam, and Lady liberty. Halloween just the Monster fighter monsters with new ones added. Christmas could be Santa, Elves, and etc and possibly religous

I thought series 14 was going to be for the minifigure MMO. I don't think Lego can sell super hero minifigs (marvel or DC) individually as that could fall under action figure sales which Hasbro and Mattel have rights to. This is the reason Lego doesn't sell Star Wars minifigs individually, they must always be included with a building set. |

^ I don't think that would fall into action figure sales at all since they are still buildable and not a solid piece/figure. if that was the case all lego/k-nex/mega bloks blind bag items would be considered action figures.
as for star wars, most people buy the sets for the figures alone. so it would not make sense (money wise) to sell individual figures as they would lose money on the big sets imo... |

I think they can do it because it's not an actual representation of the Figure but a Lego Representation of what the character would look like. Example the Wolverine is a Lego Figure designed to look like Lego Figure that is painted to match Wolverine and does not use and Actual Likeness of the character to the Comic Book or Movies. Likewise Batman is also a Lego Figure designed to look like a lego Figure painted as Batman costume and doesn't make a physical likeness to the Comic books or Movies.
