@Barfootabe
Thank you, dude! Desaad's been very busy creating new weapons for Darkseid...or maybe, for himself... Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 11-20-2015 at 08:15 AM.. |

Nice shots, man. Wish I'd found a way to procure that skeletal raven for a reasonable price.

@Monte
Thanks, dude! Coming from you, someone with legitimate camera skills, that means a lot! Yeah, I luvs me some Gothitropolis....too much so. I'm often willing to pay more than I really should for them. I dig the presentation for all of your pics, but that Christopher Reeves Superman shot is stunning! Very emotive...and the colors are intense. Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 12-10-2015 at 04:08 PM.. |

Love those poses! Those figs seem like they will pose well in any scenario one can imagine, too bad I'm not enough of a fan of DBZ to jump on board. Great power-up scene; I'm still not sure about the "Thunder Effect" and waiting for the price to drop a little. The use of scale and perspective is fantastic on that last Broly shot! Awesome all around! |

this is why DBZ is my fav current line @BM...come on son..hop on in...don't be scurred...i always thought DBZ was another stupid kid show..(that my kids used to love) I watched my first ep around 2007 when the dvd's were released..cause one of my boys SWORE by this... I watched the entire run of DBZ and now i'm a fan.. i'm currently watching DragonBall..which is equally as entertaining to me.. Just think of how much more money you could be wasting......ha!

@Dark
Hahaha! I started watching the show in the mid 90's and have always been a fan. Piccolo is my dude! That said, there are only so many 15min soliloquies/grunting power-ups and returns from death that one can take. And then, there's Mr.Popo...WTF?!?!? Where's his figure? nevermind, don't need one...lol Since you are in the NYC area, do you remember when NBC used to show DragonBall? It actually aired on Saturday mornings. I wanna place it circa 87'-89'-90'ish (that may be a little before your time - not trying to infantilize you, just don't know your age and I'm aware that I'm dating myself). Channel four aired it, but between the violence and possibly Mr. Popo (lol), it didn't last very long. As for the figs, they are great. However, $50-plus a pop is reserved for only a few lines that I collect. Specifically, Gothitroplolis: Scarabus and Ravens (pic above)....and select/rare DCUC and Marvel Legends...I really like the pose-friendly nature of the figs, but I can hit most (if not all) of those postures with cheaper figs and my imagination. |

Yeah..it's crazy sometimes I'm like..I'm not paying no damn $15.00 for a figure..but i'll turn around and shell out 50.00 for a DBZ with the quickness..luckily they come out sporadically...and not a bunch in waves. dont recall DBZ on regular TV..but right around 89-90 is where I'd start to not be fully aware of what was going on cartoon wise.. and some Random Match Made in heaven.. GO HARD OR GO HOME

Yeah, I agree that Mr. Popo ain't so much a 'battle' as he's simply a SMH moment...but he's been edited out of many episodes that have aired here stateside over the years... I like these pics! Quote:
I may need to get one of those Biggie figs! I often overlook pop-culture toys, but that Mezco fig is doper than I gave it credit for! You have the black suit version? Last edited by TheBlueMarvel; 12-19-2015 at 03:48 PM.. |
