I actually want to start photoing other toys as well...it's just i'm so Legends intense right now but i've got TONS of diff toy lines to work with. I actually just asked for a few tips from one of our premiere picture takers...I have a few ideas now.... i'll try em out as soon as i get a chance.. I'M A GROWN ASS MAN THAT PLAY WITH TOYS....and guess what...IT'S SOO MUCH FUNNNNNNNNN....HAHA... It's funny sometime there's an IP you LOVE..but when the figures come out you're' like ...meh.. I played Destiny almost till my thumbs fell off.....lol...and i thought i would LOVE those figs...but didn't really ..i mean they are cool to look at...just didn't strike me as needing to own. HAHA @ that Punisher....aw man...somebuddys gonna get it from his sploosh rocket... ..and that Nova look good!!...that's a figure i've done nothing with but love...gotta pull him out of storage...was gonna wait until the kid Nova came out..and try to recreate the Nova #1 comic from 2015 with both of them on it.. Blob wave...he came with Blobs fat lil' sausage licker hands

Awwwww, yeah.
Nova is my guy. Sam or Rich, it's aaaalllllll good. Annihilation was really when a lot of that took off, when Nova became Nova Prime. It brought him and Star Lord to prominence, brought Rocket Raccoon and Groot out of their decades-long hiatus, really got things moving. I have the first two issues of the 2017 Nova comic, just haven't sat down with them yet. I liked what I saw in the previews a lot. Quote:
Destiny
Loves me some Destiny. I wish they'd let Mattel make some six inch Destiny figures, I like it when my toylines all kinda scale together. Yeah, the toys they're offering now aren't great, but I figured it was all we'd get and I'm pretty damn thirsty so I dove right in. The Fallen Devil Walker is really nice, though. Unless you meant the 1/6 Destiny stuff, then yeah. I get ya. They're neat, but I collect way too much stuff as is to get into the 1/6 market. It'd wreck me sideways. Edit: Man, is that really the scariest photo I've taken? That's pitiful, I need to get to work. Last edited by Brownfinger; 01-13-2017 at 02:44 PM.. |

It's top shelf. As Marvel events go, it's widely regarded as the best of the past decade. If you get around to it, I'd love to know what you think. In the class of books that they like to sell as "Nothing will ever be the same, guise!", which I'm usually not a fan of, Annihilation stands apart as being the most compelling by far. That's due in large part to Keith Giffen's writing, he's exceptionally witty and understands his characters better than most.
I can't recommend it highly enough. If you have the Thanos issues 7-12 that served as the story catalyst for the Annihilation event itself, they are the best insight into Thanos as a character. |

Damn, that's nice. I'm going to need to buy that, aren't I?
Skeletor staking a claim on my Halloween candy bucket. You may think it's some mystical tome of dark arcane secrets or whatever that he's sharing, but it's actually Orko's diary. Not a tabletop gamer at all, but the aesthetic of the Super Dungeon Explore game pieces was too cute for me to not buy. It's actually a pretty complex and fun little board game! I really do miss the quality writing that went into those books. |

Nice! Dr. King, even in figure form, needs no extra adornments...A transformative figure in life, death, and plastic!

Agreed. No gimmick necessary.
Respect. How do I follow that? I can't, so here are some dinosaurs who are also robots. These are my second iteration Kre-O Dinobots. The figures are from a San Diego Comic Con set, I added on pieces and designed their dino modes myself! And this one is a little older, I adopted the "texts from last night" meme for giggles. |

Ha! I just photographed two of these guys together a couple days ago! Haven't uploaded it yet. Nice shot, man.
Thanks, man, I bought her months ago in preparation for winter. Not even a fan of the movie; I much preferred Tangled. But she was less than $10, and WOW is she photogenic.

@Dark
That angle is great, man! What is that material? It looks like space snow...That first shot was great, you hammered that angle and it felt cinematic. |
