Kuma, what do you think of ThreeA's WBR bots? As an old Shogun Warriors head, I'm teetering on the edge. Do you have any of those monsters?

@Kuma
I certainly get where you’re coming from, but I will add that a static/neutral pose can be just as dynamic as one bursting with motion, provided that it conveys emotion. Again, I’m a bit of a homer with these Shogun Warrior send-ups, they’ve pressed the right nostalgic buttons and 2 feet of toy is pretty damn impressive. However, I’m not spending 200-400 bones on something that I’m uncertain has more than 5 POA. That leap of faith is just a bit too far. |

My point was that they look like crap in static poses. Sorry if that didn't relay properly in my previous post.

Oh, yeah, I got it and agree for the most part. They marketed well to suckers like me that grew up loving supersized Shoguns (which were limited, even in their day). They banked on someone like myself seeing enough of my childhood in the WBRs to buy them despite the bots being near statues...I've never seen them doing anything other than standing erect.

Cheers to moms and their diligence as societal linchpins. Resilient as hell.
Edit: Cthulhu's balls, it's Mother's Day? Edit again: Oh. Oh, god. Okay, it falls on different days in other countries. I probably should have known that. My blood crystallized into ice, though. I don't even wanna think about same day shipping costs for anything I would need to buy. I loved this one, so I might as well post it here, too. Alas, poor... uh, human. /throws it onto the pile Quote:
Where do they go afterward? Where are they all going! To your kids? To someone else? There are so many, is there like a Scrooge McDuck-ian vault? I bet it's a vault, isn't it. I know I know, you don't wanna talk about it. ... If it's a vault, say nothing at all and post another superb toy photo. Last edited by Brownfinger; 03-31-2019 at 03:18 AM.. Reason: MOTHER'S DAY?! |

lol If I had to hazard a guess, many of them go back to the manufacturer. My understanding is that he's a reviewer...it sort of says it on the bottom of his sig.
