Hot damn. That's Iron Factory stuff, the teeny tiny robots? I didn't realize they were in the combiner business. Phenomenal images, dude. I dunno how they pack so much dynamic goodness into deceptively small toys.
I'd make it rain in their offices if they started cranking out some Micromaster guys at those same price points to put on the shelf with my larger figures. |

Thanks!

Thanks Bo Tef.
Monte - It's called Thunder Manus; I believe the price is $120 or so. Not next to it atm so not sure on height. Product listings may have it.

Finally my Captain's Chair has arrived. After much thinking about who would get first dibs to sit in it this happened:

Fun stuff as always, Astra. I love that Wolverine head sculpt, and part of me is still tempted to get an Obama Jedi figure.

Thanks! Backatcha! That outside picture certainly looks cool and so real. Great perspective.

https://i1.wp.com/www.comicmix.com//...size=550%2C451 That's one of the pictures that are the reason why I bought him. I stumbled about him by accident when looking for clothes for the Stargate figures, and then could not NOT buy him. He is, in fact, the first proper 1:6 scale figure that I have bought. You even get real tiny buttons and real button holes on shirt and jacket, something which more expensive figures don't have. He and I even made it into several newspapers and TV news when the real President Obama visited Dresden in 2009! Thank you! I certainly will! Lots more where these came from. Years ago I saw a sixth scale version of this setup with soft goods:
https://www.amazon.com/President-Bar.../dp/B002S7PKQ2 That's what I was referring to, but now I can't find it online!

Let me live vicariously through all of you with your insanely detailed 1:6 scale figures. Monte, Astra, really entertaining stuff, thanks for sharing. I didn't even know there was an Obama figure in that scale, I want one.
If I had to start somewhere, it would be their life size baby Groot for fun photography opportunities. It would be such a slippery slope for me, I need someone to save me from myself. |

The brand name of my Obama is DID. He comes with second head with open mouth, several hands, another tie, a wristwatch, a wooden stool to sit on, a microphone and an American flag in a flag holder. I once made a Doctor Who / Star Trek crossover after learning that he was a big Star Trek fan. So he could meet his heroes. Last edited by Astra; 04-29-2018 at 12:28 AM.. |
