Apparently, I need one more post under my belt before I can post links to my latest photographs... so this oughta do it.

The latest Riobot from Sentinel was released today, and it's a character very close to my heart.

I also have been busy this weekend, turning Ed into Riddler. Alfred gave him his old jacket that he didn't need anymore as I cut it off to make him in rolled up sleeves Last edited by Astra; 09-16-2018 at 08:55 AM.. |

Damn, TJ. You are sorely tempting me to step out of my G1 comfort zone with that Origin Leonidas. Love it.
I'm still slowly expanding the Batcave... |

@Tekering thanks man! Is that Batcave something you're sculpting yourself or are they playset parts? Looks great. I'm not a Sueprhero collector but maaaaan I swear stuff like that Batcave and seeing people's Iron Man Hall of Armor rooms etc. is just heaven. Great stuff.

Never mind the railings, the furnishings or the paperwork... how the hell did you get an action figure of yourself, Astra? |

I scratchbuilt the railing just from cardboard and some aluminium rings: I also made the police files (just printed real police reports, I was amazed what you can find on the internet) and the steel pillars that can be barely seen in the background. The desk comes with the Ed Nygma figure ("Gotham"), the file cabinet and the office chairs are some of my beloved Wrestling figures accessories. As for the figure of myself, that one was easy. I just went to a shop, got scanned and printed! It's the new trend, just find a shop that is near you! I actually have two of myself. I told the guy that I was unsure how to pose and he came up with the photographing pose, as I had told him about my action figure photography: |

I love the cameos from Plastic Astra (Plastra?) and Big Boss Man!
There was a rather touching photo making the rounds on Facebook a while back concerning that figure of Big Boss Man (the wrestler whose gimmick was that he was a policeman). He has been dead for some time, but his daughter posted a photo of her son in his carseat holding that toy, and the caption she added was, "When that's your grandpa but you don't know it yet."
