Great nostalgia piece. I love Jurassic Park. I do. I've read the novel in the 90's at least 75 times cover to cover. Saw the first movie, in theater, 10 times.
That being said, I REALLY wish they'd "fix" their world with modern paleontological theory and facts... or at least fix some major physical discrepancies. As much as I would love the raptors to have feathers, I'd be even happier if they'd fix the wrists of raptors and rex. They should face each other, not the ground. I realize it's petty. Just looking at this egg, however, and my eyes were constantly going towards the paws, not the sculpture. People say, "Well, that's how it looked 25 years ago"... well, big whup. 25 years ago, James Bond looked like Pierce Brosnan. 25 years ago Arnold Schwarzenegger looked like a mountain of muscle not a mountain of melted icecream. Things change! It's funny, at the toy aisle, I've overheard kids complain that the JP dinosaur toy look fake. Their textbook illustrations have feathers. The BBC documentaries have CGI feathers. You mean to tell me ILM can't manage digital feathers?
