With my recent move I have not done any haul shots for a while. As such, all my stuff from the last month or so. The odd part is none of the figures are from lines I generally collect. I mostly just liked the looks. I have no clue who the Star Wars guy is.
I am however beyond stoked about the collected editions and the omnibus. I stumbled across the Annihilation volumes at a local comic shop. They are generally impossible to find for a non insane price and I snagged all 3 at cover price. Annihilation is one of my all-time favorite events. The DNA GOTG omnibus was a must have as well. Sorry for the large photo. No computer internet access yet so I am limited to what I can do with my phone. |

Great haul. Man, I loved Annihilation. The big event stuff generally is somewhat disappointing, Annihilation has been the best they've offered in the past decade.
Where's my Annihilation movie? |

While at Wal-Mart tonight I was pleasantly shocked to find this helmet set which I actually did not know was a thing until just now basically. Good to see a break from the monotony of the first two helmet sets over and over. These are pretty damn cool desktop decorations/paperweights and the dome is removable on Vader's helmet.

I would use the Darth Vader head for a 12" Kylo to worship.
I have also bought TONS of Lego Dimensions stuff, but this is what I took a pic of: [url=https://flic.kr/p/JuoEta]

I really like them as kind of being like little affordable busts. The Vader helmet is painted to have a lighting effect where some parts are given a darker black shine than other parts to simulate the effect seen on screen but it came out well. The trooper is surprisingly awesome though especially the fine details on the little breathing filter bits on the chin. Now I really want them to do a Boba Fett helmet in the next wave.

Yep. The more Icons I get the more I like the line, and Storm is just beautiful even if she is a bit unstable on her feet.

I've been looking for this Stay Puft figure for a while since it's from the original movie but since it's the classic figure of the three ghosts it's been harder to find. For $10 it's not bad and I plan on taking some Puft vs Godzilla pictures with it later. I also finally saw the second wave of the new 4" Marvel figures and got myself a Vision and Living Laser. While I'm really glad to have gotten these two since they were the ones I wanted most I'm still looking for Gamora. Vision has great paint and a good design (good to see the Young Avengers version) but limited articulation. Same for Living Laser. Great paint and design but less than great articulation. Still always good to get another bad guy and an Avengers mainstay.

Nice, I like the 6" Palpatine I don't care what anyone says.
Today was also a good day: Bonus photobombed first attempt: I ordered this on December 15th, it took that long for Hasbro to get stock out.

He's easily the most under-rated of the Black Series figures, and once you're able to outfit him with his own lightsaber, he quickly becomes one of the best, as his articulation is deceptively good and he can strike some really good poses.
(The lightsaber in the photo is a custom painted cast I did. Hilt is courtesy of Casting Cave...) |

That looks great, I might have to try getting a hilt like that.

A swivel joint at the elbow and it would be perfect, but as it is I love it. |
