Just bought 10 Stormtroopers for 7.50$ each, couldn't resist and I had to snatch all from the shelf.

ya know... i couldn't remember Nathan Drake's name..so i just googled NECA as i knew the figure would come up. As i sat and looked at all the figures Neca has produced I was like DAMN.....NECA has made some AMAZING figures. Even the the things i don't buy i admire. Then I happened to have seen a Gears figure that I didn't know about (READS: never paid close attention to) I start looking up Gears figures... Then i start looking through my collection which i KEEP on display.. i said alllll that to say.. I absolutely LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE my Gears of War collection. As i pulled them out (and dusted them off)I was looking at the detail Neca put into this line. GOW is def one of my top two favorite action figure lines of all time. [/Random Rant]

I also really wish that NECA had gotten Gears back instead of the movement to McFarlane. Like you I'll also probably get some of the Color Tops Gears stuff because of the franchise love I feel but not because they're gonna be great figures. Man though if NECA had Gears again they could give us an ultimate Marcus Fenix with all the new tools and tricks of modern designing, I weep for the loss. Quote:

Here are some of my recent pickups. Have to get around to taking more pictures of my stuff soon. On a side note, I know NECA makes some great figures but I wish they'd be a bit less on the fragile side. I had to exchange my Ultimate Gypsy Danger as his left arm was broken right out of the box. It was a little disappointing but I was able to exchange it for one that's fine. Course now I'm so nervous about swapping the arms ( it seemed really stiff and I couldn't even unattach the gun arm from the broken one I had. ) My Ultimate Striker Eureka was also broken in package,

Thankfully this problem of continued limb breakage seems isolated to the PR Jaeger line which is now over anyway, while fragility is still a valid concern with most of their other products overall it's gotten pretty good and I haven't heard of any major QC issues outside of the PR line since last year's DC 7" Superman.

The last ultimate Jason was great as far as breakage issues but unfortunately a lot of them had loose hip joints, he can still stand fine but if I pick him up and shake him even gently his legs will wobble, so hopefully this new one is good too. The ultimate part 1 Freddy was perfect in my experience and I haven't had a predator with issues since 2014.

My final Trade-Smart hauls as they close next Saturday and look at what movies I managed to find in their endless amount of carts full of DVDs:
And only for $1.50 a piece too. Oh, and the Gotham dioramas were $8 a piece. Some cannon fodder came with them too.

Those Gotham dio pieces are the best things about that line!

Riddic, I love your display man. The wall of my childhood fantasy weapons is bad ass.
Triv, what's the quality like on the neca china- bay turtles? They look good. I've been really tempted, but I ordered a set of the knock off nick turtles for my kids to destroy, and they were really bad, like frozen backward joints, two left legs, painted at a school for the blind bad. |

I hate it when couriers don't even ring the doorbell or knock. I only found out this was delivered because the tracking told me I signed for it's delivery, which I did not. I'm really liking the figures, good paint apps on all of them. Jyn does kind of look like Belle from Beauty and the Beast but there are worse things to look like.
