The only negative towards the Zyuranger Figuarts is that the pink ranger has different shades of pink on some of her body. Her legs below the knee and right arm are a lighter shade than the rest of the body.
That aside, they make these new Bandai Figures look like Happy Meal toys. The incorrectly colored belts, the lack of any accessories (weapons or hands, making the removable hands pointless), the inaccurate to the show sculpts (red's helmet is terrible looking), the muscular bodies, the small heads, anorexic looking female bodies, flimsy rubber weapons, and the loose joints really kill these figures. It is a shame because I really like their size. I'm also not a fan of the idea that the male rangers that were turned female in the US are going to have female bodies. I know why they do/will, but it doesn't mean I like it personally. The only ones I will buy if they ever get released are the Kakurangers, Carrangers, and perhaps Gekirangers. Oh, but I would kill if it meant Bandai would bring out the Dairangers.

The figuarts versions are WAY better in my opinion. Better looking, more accurate, better articulation, better paint, better accessories.
To me, they're well worth the extra cost. But again, that's me. |

Great price on Chromedome especially him being in wave 2. Only reason I jumped on the TR stuff is because it's below $10 and below, no way was I going to pay the Walgreens price that pretty much double that.

I mentioned picking up the 6" TFA 3PO but I actually opened it up and it's a decent figure but not great. I will likely end up returning this version once I find the Walgreens OT version but this is a good placeholder for now or if I never find the OT version. It does seem too tall and the articulation is very limited but he is a core character to the franchise so for the discounted $16 I can't complain.

Very happy with this figure, and I'm not a big Joker fan.

HeyGuys
Thanks for all the info on the Power Rangers Legacy. Not sure how deep i'm gonna go in the line, but I'll be picking up a few more soon. More than likely gonna get the Original team and see what happens then. Not sure I want to go the Figuarts route on Power Rangers. I think that will be way too expensive looking at their prices. Thanks for all the info guys. On a side note, I just got my Friday the 13th Part 3, Ultimate Jason, my Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Ultimate Freddy and my Alien Day Ripley. (sorry for the stock photos again btw) The packaging for the Ultimate Jason, wow I don't even want to open it, it looks so good.(still am though tbh) The Ripley looks better than I thought it would as well. All in all it was a great day! |

Got a new shapeways order to make a full figure bigger kreon drift and Arcee, but been too busy painting them up to take pics yet.
Otherwise mostly still waiting on the next titans return stuff, and some other random marvel stuff. Been kind of appreciating the time off from collecting for awhile though. Needed to give the hobby (and my wallet!) a breather anyway. |

TRU pick-ups today. If you can check Batman's eyes do it because some definitely looked better than others but overall none looked bad. My Spiked Tail had no issues but his joints are much easier to move than I'm used to with predators (probably because of the new body) so it threw me off when I was first figuring him out.

Very jealous, I've had no luck on the Batman here in my area and I'm hoping it's more available here than the Reeves Superman was when it dropped.
Here is my haul for last week. No Revan though, one guy bought the 3 Walmarts out here from what I hear from staff. Between missing him and the Mini NES Classic I'm more than a little bummed. and a little XFiles fix.. Congrats, I saw this picture posted earlier today on Marvel Toy News but they said it was international, had no idea it was from here in my state. I'm taking a drive.... |
