Haven't been able to find the X-Men wave yet but my wife managed to find me Old Man Logan. I'm way behind on Marvel Legends, going to start catching up on them. Even fixed my Legends shelf to have room for the new sets.

[QUOTE=Riddick;701736]Thanks man.
I took some closer up shots before I leave. Decided, might as well take some pics of the rest of my display. This isn't everything, lots of my mint on card and loose figures are in containers in my basement, this is just what I currently have room for. DAAAAANNNNNNMMMMMM my man you are killing it. You remind me of what i used to be this is one of the best collection I have seen. Look like those 3 inch iron man could use a hall of armor. Last edited by IRONTUCK3000; 03-26-2017 at 12:57 PM.. |

what a big collection, i really like the street fighter figures. if i was to nitpick the collection, you have too many repeated figures but other than that, good collection, good job.

Yeah, while those collection pictures are GREAT, but they really deserve to be in a separate thread. For they're not things you "just got".

I always try to do a*snip* of the quote if it's a lot of quotes or a quote that is mega image heavy cause of course people then have to have ALL of it load AGAIN. On Topic - My 1st serious SERIOUS comic purchase,ASM #252 (1st appearance of Black Suit Spider-Man arrived in the mail via US eBay.

While gorcering on Saturday I finally saw the Sandman wave in a store. They didn't have Ms Marvel or the multiverse Spider-Men and I had already gotten Shocker and Symbiote Spidey a while back from amazon but I did pick up Green Goblin. From a design perspective I've always preferred Hobgoblin's look but Green Goblin is a much more significant character and this figure's design is great except for those ear strap pieces on his hat, I don't like those. As a bonus his bomb and eyes react to black light in a cool way.

Personally, I think Green Goblin and Hobgoblin are both significant.
Anyway, I've now completed what has come out so far for the Stan Lee/Jack Kirby era of Fantastic Four. Hopefully Volume 4 isn't too far behind.

Oh they're definitely both significant but there's no ignoring that the Green Goblin is Spider-Man's main villain. Yeah others will bring up like Doc Ock and Venom but no one can top Norman Osborn for the pain he has inflicted upon Peter Parker's life. I've always found Hobgoblin to be underappreciated by most fans, at least those that I've spoken to. Maybe it's because he's the "other goblin" character or maybe it has to do with the tangled mess regarding his true identity (Roger Stern left before revealing the truth and Marvel decided to do their own thing until he came back) but as I've said I was always fond of the Hobgoblin and I especially liked his look. A big part of the look factor was that he was wearing pants, I know that the Green Goblin costume is technically a full costume that completely covers Norman but the character of the Goblin itself has bare legs whereas the Hobgoblin is a completely dressed Goblin.

I like Hobgoblin a lot from the bits and pieces I know about him. But there's no denying that Green Goblin is the Joker for Spiderman. Hobgoblin is fascinating, but he is built on Green Goblin's legacy.
