I just finished re-uploading the pics I've taken through the last week, everything else will have to be restored as needed. For the continuity of the threads we have to get over it and move on.

I saw the new 3 DBZ Figures from whomever the hell makes them. They look decent. Decent enough enough for a 3rd of the price. But too similar to actually make the purchase. Will probably def buy ones they release that have no Figuarts counterpart. Last edited by Augustus_Cole; 06-30-2017 at 07:00 PM.. |

So I ended up getting these today at Denver Comic Con (and Crash Bandicoot). OH, and I learned that Neal Adams is a complete jerkface.
Also, a close up scan of the Weird Al picture:

Well he went off on a guy for just looking through his art prints took quickly and then he got mad when I disagreed with his page in Odyssey where Batman outright shoots Sensei in the chest with a magnum as he thought it was the coolest thing to ever have Batman do. Then there is the fact that he is charging $30 to autograph one of YOUR books. The dude still thinks this is 1970 where he is the hottest artist on the market.

Yeah, Neal Adams is pretty notorious for being a jerk. My interaction with him didn't go too well either. He's abrasive, opinionated and has a tendency to talk down to people. In his case, better to admire from afar.

Ha! Ha! Neil Adams has been to the local Con here in KC the last several years. He was charging $20 per signature the first year. I took a stack of books for him to sign and when I found out how much he charged, I just bought a signed Green Arrow print instead for the same price. He seemed more interested in selling prints than anything else. He wasn't rude to me though.
I bought a really nice hardcover copy of the Superman Vs. Muhammad Ali book along with a few other things from Neal Adams official website several years ago. The books were all cover price + shopping and they were all signed. That's not a bad deal all things considered. |

"El diablo que hace trofeos de los hombres..."
20170701_091229 by Trivial Psychic, on Flickr My Jungle Demon arrived from the NECA Ebay store, and thankfully, he is WAY BETTER than the previous Ultimate Predator Jungle Hunter that just came out. Nothing frozen, bent or broken, and no awful smell, although I think that might have more to due with the lesser paint paint apps and washes than anything else, since a large majority of the figure is just clear plastic. I really love the deco on him, and think he looks great, although the lighting around the eyes looked a little heavy handed on mine. I've had Flickr for years, but have never actually used it to upload or share anything before. A little trickier than Photobucket, but hopefully it won't be too cumbersome in the future. If anyone knows how to get imbed links while using the app to share, so I don't always have to be on my PC when posting pics, you would be my hero! The new Spider-Man wave was actually on sale at my local grocery store ($15 instead of $20) so I picked up Vulture, movie Spidey, and Beetle. The only other one they had was Tombstone and I passed on him.
