my "Thursday after Force-Friday" pick-ups.
************* I had to move my TV and entertainment center yesterday and THIS was behind it. I chuckled at it because i have no idea what this is or how it got back there. |

Picked up the Batman Animated Series Rogue's Gallery set this week. I go it for 30$ off MSRP and used a whole bunch of store credit at my local Vintage Stock. But really if you think 25$ per figure, I only payed 20$ more for the light up box, soooo not that bad really.

This was in 2002, or somewhere around. I believe i first saw them in a grocery store. They were in one of those little toy machines. Came in little bubbles. I bought quite a few of them, maybe 20. If memory serves, they then went on to become slightly popular and you could order all kinds of stuff from their website. Carrying cases, vehicles, etc. I quickly lost interest, though. Not sure if they are still around or whatever became of them.

Went back out over weekend to find more Force Friday stuff but no exclusives at GS or Walgreens, did pick up the Silencer and while out hunting finally found a Thrall and picked up Reaper plus added several duplicate NF Knights Legends that not going to picture again - as said before TRU shorted the SW merch but restocked a lot of others so added another Cyclops Phoenix and SM Mary Jane Legends two pack as well. Hoping to find Last Jedi 2nd wave and a Sphero R2 to complete my bot set this weekend. |

If you are worried about finding Black series Last Jedi wave 2 , You can Pre Order the whole wave at Gamestop online or in store if you don't mind the couple bucks extra for each. I pre ordered all 5, an extra Praetorian Guard, the Snoke w/throne, and 2 of the Guardians of Evil 4 packs, as well as the Battlefront exclusive Tie Pilot. They seem to be about the only place to pre order the figure singles and not have to get the whole case.

In my experience Lando and Qui Gon are very easy to find but only at Gamestop and Thinkgeek because until now with the new force Friday push all the other stores were still sitting on RO junk.

Kind of a funny pick up this week as I never planned on getting the Mattel Ghostbusters set when I first saw them at Toys R Us. Granted, that's when they when$30 a pop, but when I saw them at my local Dollar store for $4 I could not resist. Ray and Peter were the first finds and needed to search a bit for Egon and Winston. As an added bonus I was able to round out the set with Ecto 1 And Ecto 2. I really hope that in the future there will be more of these types of figures show up at the Dollar Store as it's a crazy good value. Lastly I had to pick up another Captain America for the final missing Onslaught BAF piece; I really hate having to buy it again, but I'll just display him with the wolf head.
Which dollar store did you find them at ? Here in GA, we have Dollar General, Dollar Tree, and Family Dollar, among others.

Nice! I love that Macho Man, but I wish his trunks were more the shade of pink he wore and not lilac. Mattel cannot figure out purple and pink. They did it with a HHH and New Day figures too.

I was hoping and praying that another weekend wouldn't go by without Boss Fight Series 2 figures arriving. Finally two of them showed up!
I had an order from 3 different online stores and finally one order arrived. If feels like these suckers have been on order for so long. The quality is still amazing and I'm really enjoying Series 2 already. ...I just need to find a proper place to display them. I'm totally out of room.
